Chapter 23 ~ The Question

There's only two more chapters to go until this book offically ends so i'm trying to tie together any loose strings that might still be floating around.

I poked Reyes' chest and silently laughed as he sleepily swatted my hand away from him, he'd slept in my bed every night since my birthday, he said he didn't want me to get lonely but I think he was doing for his own reasons.

Trying to get out of him vice like grip that tightened every time I moved, it was quite the challenge but finally I removed myself from his arms and crept across the room, grabbed some clothes and headed to the onsuite and closed the door once I was inside. Groaning when i caught sight of my reflection in the wall to floor mirror I quickly grabbed my brush and tamed the messed that was my hair, once it was silky smooth and was tangle free I turned the shower on before Reyes could wake up.

Washing my now soaked hair with my organic shampoo and condicionar that smelled of Lemon grass and ginger I then started to wash my body with sandelwood soap. When I was staisfied that I smelled nice and felt clean I stepp out of the shower and turned off the water. Grabbing a fluffy black towel I patted myself dry and wrapped my hair up in a new towel so it could dry naturaly.

I got dressed in my Of Mice & Men tank top and pulled on my dark wash wripped skinny jeans before walking out of the bathroom with a large grin on my face, I was feeling happy for no reason and I honestly didn't know why. heading out my door after leaving Reyes a note taped to his chest telling him that i was off to breakfast, I headed down stairs to the dinning room and sat in my normal seat.

"Someone's in a good mood" Colton said from across the table as he sat in his seat and served himself some pancakes.

"It's cause she's getting laid" Lily said while she did that same.

"What!" Jack snorted out his orange juice and stared at me with wide eyes "Tell me it isn't true!" he shouted standing up quick enough to knock over his chair.

"I'm not getting laid, Lily's just fucking with you" I said chuckling, I would love to see what he'd do to Reyes if it were.

Lily burst out laughing and shrugged when Jack glared at her "I wanted to see what you'd do and guess what" she leaned toward him and smirked "I got the reaction i wanted" smiling contently she sat back and began eating her fruit salad.

I was going to coment when the dinning room doors busted open and revealed a swave looking Reyes and a calm looking father "Lissy, Reyes would like to talk to you privately" dad said gathering up my brothers, Lily and Ares he walked them out the door and closed it behind himself.

I looked at Reyes who strod forward and gulped loudly, "Why are you nervous?" I asked as he came closer then got down on one knee.

"I have something important to ask you" he said pulling a velvet box out of his suit pocket he held it out to me and looked up though his lashes "Lisbeth Astrid Akerman" he took a deep breath and opened the box up "will you marry me?" i looked at the ring he was holding out to me and smiled, it was my mum's  dimond engagement ring which my dad had kept after she died.

"Yes" I said not realising the words had left my mouth, Reyes beathed a sigh of relief, leaned forward and kissed me deeply before pulling away and putting the ring on my left hand.

"I love you" he whispered and pulled me into a hug.

"I love you too" I whispered back burying my face into his shoulder, I grinned and held onto him.

Next two chapters consist of wedding plans then the wedding itself will be the last chapter... might even throw in a epilogue.
