028-A Way Out
Y/N and Deku ran around the underground shopping centre looking for any of their classmates.
The floor they were on suddenly became colder. The temperature seemed to drop out of nowhere.
"Is it just me or is it cold here?.." Y/N asked Deku through strained breaths as the continued running.
"Yeah." Deku said, his breath visible in the air like a wispy fog.
"Todoroki?"
"Probably."
-
"I hear something!"
In the distance someone was shouting. Izuku heard it too. They turned the corner and saw Bakugo, Shoto, Kaminari and Denki.
"Y/N?!" Bakugo yelled. "What are you still doing here?!"
She opened her mouth to reply but no sound came out once she spotted the crack in the wall. Water was pouring out everywhere, rapidly filling the room. The crack was only widening as they stood and watched helplessly.
"What do we do now!??" Denki panicked, coming back to his senses.
He seemed tired, so Izuku was probably right, that it was Kaminari who turned on the emergency lights.
Todoroki started freezing the rising water, slowing it down.
"Todoroki, it's not a good idea, the water pressure will rise and the ice will break!" Midoriya yelled over the deafening sound of running water.
By now Bakugo had stood beside Y/N.
"Are you alright? Shitty Deku didn't touch you, did he?" He asked, looking for any injuries, ignoring what was going on around them.
"No no, I'm okay really, are you?"
"Of course I am." He had a look of determination but it soon turned to one of annoyance as Midoriya asked him sheepishly to listen to the plan.
"Okay, Todoroki will lift us up using his ice through holes in the ceiling that I'll create with my Shoot Style. Momo and Uraraka are at the top to help us out." Todoroki nodded to confirm everything he had said.
Somehow, they were pulling off this seemingly impossible task,and were quickly rising to the higher levels. Y/N stood beside Kirishima until Bakugo shoved him out of the way.
"Move, shitty hair." He put his arm around Y/N.
Sure enough, Yaoyorozu and Uraraka were waiting at the top for them. Momo had created a ladder for the group to get up. Katsuki urged Y/N to go first, with him following behind her.
