Y/N was close to completing her internship, so she had the work experience she needed.
She thought about Katsuki often, and knew deep down they would see each other again. It would be sooner than she had thought.
She patrolled the streets, keeping her eyes peeled for villains. It was late afternoon, the sun would soon begin to set, and the cool air of night overtook the warmth of the sun.
She took notice of a man walking in the opposite direction. It was a fellow hero in his costume, but that hair looked familiar. Could it be Bakugo?
Taking the chance, she ran up to him. He turned around and had a moment of realisation. His eyes reflected confusion then relief.
"Y/N?!"
"Katsuki! What're you doing here?"
"I came to find you, idiot! You promised you'd come back to me!"
She hugged him tightly.
"I'm just glad to see you."

"So you really moved here?"
"Yeah." He said. "I thought if I moved around a bit I might do better in the hero charts. That damned Deku is still number one..." Truthfully Y/N was his main reason for moving.
"But you're the number two hero in Japan! That's amazing, Katsuki!"
" I won't stop until I'm number one."
His competitive nature and general goal oriented mindset made him nearly unstoppable against villains, and made him popular in the hero billboards.
"I missed you, a lot."
"I missed you too, idiot."
What Y/N didn't know was that Bakugo knew exactly where she would be, he had memorised her patrol routes. He visited her often, but made sure he wasn't seen.
He decided to give her the illusion of independence she desired. Y/N was a fool if she thought Bakugo wouldn't follow her to the ends of the earth.
"Woah, is that Ground Zero?!" Some girl shouted from across the street. Her friends started yelling too.
"Look, it's H/N as well!! Can I get your autograph??"
"Nevermind that, can I get your number? Please, Ground Zero!!"
Y/N and Bakugo waved but then speed walked away.
"Wanna go to my place? I'm finished patrolling anyway."
"Yeah, that's a good idea." He stared behind him at his adoring fan girls, disturbed.
