After madam D'Oinkeau party two days ago I have been in a bad mood ever since.

Cooper got away stealing the sculpture leaving behind his usual calling card to muck me. After that everything went down hill.

But I really didn't want to think about it.

"Inspector fox."Captain Barkley called out to me. Making every one in the room gaze at me. "A word." He order.

Why did it have to be today!

Getting up from my desk I walked to Chief Barkley office with everyone looking back at me with amusement on there faces.

Entering his office's i didn't have to look at his face too know why he had called me for.

I knew it had to be something regarding madam D'Oinkeau party.

"chief I know I did wrong-" I started but he interrupted me.

"Wrong?" He voice angrily. "You did many things wrong Fox." Chief snapped back at me before taking a sit behind his desk.

His dark skin looks a little pale and I could see the bags under his eyes that told me he was tired and I knew he just needed a vacation. Pronto.

"Sir if this is about the cooper case-" I try to explain but he didn't let me.

"Of course is about the cooper case. How did cooper get away with madam D'Oinkeau statue if you were there to protected?" He half yelled and smack his hand on his desk. I could see his face was turning red with anger.

"Then again." He lean back on his chair trying to calm down himself. "why where you in that party any way if it was full of criminals." He voiced serious.

"Sir if you would let me-"

"Am tired Carmelita. I gave you the cooper case because I believe in you just like your father did." He shook his head when he said that making me close my hands into a fist.

I never liked when someone in Interpol mention my father to me, that's why i don't use my last name. I use my mother's instead cause i didn't want special treatment because of my father's career.

"no more explanation Carmelita am assigning you a partner in the case."

That really shock me.

"you can't do that." I yelled back at the captain but regret it as soon as I let out.

The captain looked back at me mad, i have never yelled back at him. Ever and I have never over step one of his orders. Until today.

"yes I can and I did." He snap back.

I didn't dare to said a word, i knew if i did he would take me off the cooper case and i didn't want that. I have work so hard on it that a new partner wasn't going to take that away from me.

A knock on the door interrupted the silence that was in the office. The chief said to the person outside to come in.

A women step inside the office closing the door behind her, she look about the same age i was. She was blonde with intense blue eyes and had the figure of a Barbie doll. A top model Barbie doll.
