Douxie x Reader

Chapter 3

Y/N's pov

I'm still in shock when I blurt out,

"Why did it take you this long to tell me?"

Douxie and Merlin share a worried look.

"Your power is one of great strength and mystery. We can't be going round using it willy nilly!" Merlin explains.

"And we didn't want you to get hurt," Douxie says, slightly blushing.

I shake my head and look at the ground. This is so much to take in. Douxie places his hand on my shoulder.

"Look, just come to the bookstore tomorrow,I can walk you there after our shift at the Bistro. We'll explain more there. Just take some time to process everything."

I nod and wave goodbye as I leave.

Time skip

I open the door to Jim's house. It's 4 AM so they should all still be asleep. I creep up the stairs and walk into Jim's room. I turn around to close the door and feel a tug on my shoulder. 

"Y/N WHERE WERE YOU!?" Claire shouts hugging my tight.

I jump slightly and hug her back.

"I'm sorry, I fell asleep."

"But we went to the hill and you weren't there.." Toby says, a slight unease in his voice.

"I must have rolled into the forest, I did wake up behind some trees," I lie, crossing my fingers.

Jim's pov

I see Y/N cross her fingers. 

"Okay.. just don't scare me like that again!" Claire says sternly.

"Okay okay!" Y/N replies as Claire and Toby start heading out. Why was Y/N crossing her fingers?

Time skip

I've been standing outside the Bistro for about and hour now. Her shift should be ending soon. I've decided I'm going to follow Y/N and see what was really going on. She comes out of the Bistro with someone I can't quite make out, and locks up. As the other figure walks into the light I see who it is. Douxie!? First he flirts with my girlfriend, now he goes off with her sister!? I'm ready to go intervene but I calm myself and follow them into an alleyway. It leads behind the bookstore and into a door at the back. I follow them, quite far behind, up the winding staircase. I hide behind the door.

Y/N's pov

I follow Douxie into the room and sit at a table, where I'm greeted by Merlin.

"Ah, young wizard." He greets me with a firm handshake. I smile and nod my head slightly.

"So, how was thinking things over?" Douxie asks me.

"What is there to say about that? I'm a wizard and I'm not going to tell anyone. Anything else anyone wants to say?" I say, slightly sarcastically. 

"Well...." Douxie sighs.

"Well, you're actually 916 years old, you just physically look 16. You were my other apprentice back in Camelot 900 years ago until you were taken away, they wiped your memory and sent you to lives with the humans, constantly wiping your memories so you'd forget your age and your past families. They did this because they were scared of your magic." Merlin explains. "We knew it was you as soon as we saw you."

"Who could forget a face like that-" Douxie mutters under his breath, blushing, but I can just about hear him.

"Ah, yes, your magic! Come outside with me!" Merlin exclaims. He summons his staff toward him and I follow him and Douxie out.

"Right, the coordinates for the spot near the window inside the bookstore are 62, 117, 43 (A/N-not accurate, just random numbers). Now, think of those coordinates and click your fingers. You should be able to teleport there and wave to us from the window."

Douxie's pov

Y/N agrees, a determined look on her face. She's too damn cute. She clicks her fingers and disappears. We stare at the window, awaiting her wave. Then, we hear a loud scream.

"Y/N!" I shout, running to the door.
