If the witch wanted to break the curse, she must find out what curse it is and there is only one person who might have the answer to that. She found him on the veranda on the second floor of the mansion. He was looking down at the garden.

"I need to ask you some questions." The gentleman looked at her with a blank expression then immediately looked away.

"Do you know the name of the witch who cursed you?" He didn't answer and the witch assumed that he doesn't know the answer to her question. She shook her head and asked again.
"Why do you think the witch cursed you?"
He sighed then answered, "I didn't know that it happened, it was an accident. My Alter came out at that time and I couldn't remember it until I dreamt of it. She was mad I killed her lover then she cursed me."
"She's not just mad. She lost her lover, she's hurt. And hurt people tend to hurt other people." the witch reasoned.
"So, she cursed me to feel the pain she felt again and again." The witch avoided the gentleman's eyes that are full of sadness. The witch knows how that pain feels, she felt it a few times before. Losing someone you love could make you go mad.
"I need to see that memory, the clue in breaking your curse might be in there." Almira took a step closer to Ravn. The vampire looked alarmed, ever since the witch arrived this is the first time that she was calm and conscious while being so close to him.
"Just relax. Look into my eyes and imagine a closed door, then open it. It will open your mind to me." The witch instructed in a soft tone. Ravn hesitated but did as he was told. This is the first time Ravn looked at Athalia's eyes since he saw her. He can't help but notice that something was different. Her eyes are different. He can't point out the difference but he knows there is something different about it. They both got lost in each other's eyes as the spell Almira casted take effect.
