6: Witch's Specialty

Almira's POV

I finished baking different kinds of bread and pie with the help of Seoho. He's fun to be with, I can't help but be affected by his bright energy. I didn't even notice the time passing by. All the bread and pies that we baked are arranged at a long table. Seoho and I are sitting side by side, we started eating since I'm really hungry. Geon, Leedo, and Xion entered the dining room together.

"Wow!" I could literally see Geon's eyes sparkle. I was surprised to see Xion smiling faintly.

I guess they love eating.

I stood up and called their attention, "Uhm... Do you guys want to eat? You can eat as much as you want." They looked at each other then shrugged and sat down to eat.

I cleared my throat, "Sorry for venting anger on you the first day we met." I smiled at them cautiously.

What if they are mad at me? Did I shove them too strong?

"We kinda understand you. So, you don't have to worry about it." Geon smiled reassuringly at me. I looked at the other two.

"It did hurt, but it's fine. We're vampires anyway. We heal fast." Xion smiled at me, I was surprised to see him smiling and he looks a little shy too. Well, you can't really judge people by their looks. Xion looks snob and arrogant, but now that I've talked to him, he's really nice and cute. I looked at Leedo who just cleared his throat then nod when our eyes met.

"I baked these as a peace offering." The three stopped chewing, Geon's hand was even suspended in the air as he was about to eat a piece of bread. I looked at them curiously.

"You... Uhm... what ingredients are inside these pastries?" Geon asked flinching slightly. I suddenly realized why I can see their uneasiness.

"You don't know that much about witches, do you?" I laughed at their expressions. They were looking at me curiously.

"We don't play with food. I used normal ingredients..." Seoho was nodding at them as a witness.

"Like lizard's tail." I continued. Their eyes widen at my sentence. I couldn't hold my laugh anymore. When they realize that I was just joking instead of feeling annoyed they smiled instead.

"Why are you laughing?" someone entered the dining room but stopped from walking as soon as our eyes met. He looked at me with creased forehead then looked at Geon questionably. He's only a few centimeters taller than me.

He's cute and he looks familiar.

Geon clapped slowly as he look at the gentleman who just entered, "Congratulations, you're finally awake after three days.". Xion just shook his head as he slow clap.

Three days?

"By the way this is Almira, she's a witch. Athalia and her switched bodies. She's here to find Athalia then get her body back." Geon narrated. The gentleman confusingly looked at him then back at me. He cautiously walked then sat down to eat.

(We all know that Geonhee is the 'Lip' of Oneus 😊 )

"I'm Hwanoong, but you can call me One." He smiled while looking at me and I smiled back. The room was awkwardly silent and Seoho decided to break it.

"If there are teeth suddenly growing in your ears, where would you go? The dentist or the hospital?" It very sudden but Geon still decided to answer like it was a normal event for them.

"The hospital, of course." Xion nodded as a sign of agreeing with Geon's answer. Leedo just shook his head then continued eating.

"Can you change the topic?" One suggested looking a little disgusted.

"Shouldn't you go to a witch?" I blurted as I looked at my food. I looked at them and found that they are all staring at me waiting for an explanation.

"I mean... If there are some teeth growing in your ears, you're probably cursed. And to break a curse, you need a witch."

"Did I said something wrong?" Geon, Xion and Seoho looked at me with wide eyes. While One was laughing and Leedo was holding his laugh but I could see amazement in his eyes.

"Wow." Geon slowed clapped again.

"That's cheating, it's not in the choices." Seoho pouting while looking at me with accusing eyes.

"For a weird question shouldn't your answer be something out-of-the-box too?" I laughed as I saw Seoho opening his mouth then closing it again while looking at me.

"The rule is to choose only among the options."

"Okay." I laughed at his reactions and the others laughed too. I can't help but to wonder where Ravn might be.

"Where's Ravn?" They avoided my eyes and acted like they didn't hear anything. I looked at One who looked back at me then smiled, he gestured me to follow him. We went out to a veranda where you could see a small hill few meters away from here. On top of that hill is a huge tree. I looked back at One with a creased forehead.

He pointed the huge tree with his eyes, "That huge tree is very important to Athalia and Ravn." He took a bite to a bread he was holding while looking at the tree. I could see the tree's beauty even from a far.

"A lot of Athalia's reincarnation remembers the tree more than this house, that's why Ravn would always wait for her at the tree. It became his hobby to always go there." He continued then smiled sadly.

"Ravn hyung is really strong, I can't even imagine how much pain he feels."

I could feel this heart ache for him too.

Are you okay with Oneus ships? I like Leeon the best  :) I'm thinking if I should include it in the story or not.
