Chapter 1: Release

~3rd POV~
"All Might!" Midoriya yelled in concern as he saw his mentor fighting the Nomu, the Nomu skillfully dodging his punches.
"Don't worry about me! Get yourselves and Aizawa to safety!" All Might yelled back as the Nomu went to punch him. Avoiding the hit, he threw a punch at its head but before he could a huge crack suddenly formed in between them. All Might jumped away from it, thinking it had to do with the villains.
'Now what?' He scowled as the villains seemed to also be in shock, "What are you doing now?!"
The villains didn't answer, but the crack slowly started growing and the ground began to shake.
"W-What's happening?!" Midoriya heard Mineta panicking behind him and he fell as the shaking started worsening.
Suddenly, a huge burst of black flames emerged from the crack, slowly forming what looked like to be a human figure.
"Does that.. Look like a person to you, kero?" Tsuyu asked in concern as she crouched to keep herself from falling over.
"It... It weirdly does."
"Ah~ that's much better. Hm? What's happening here?", the figure lowered themselves to the ground as the shaking stopped and the crack slowly got bigger.
They sharply whistled, and three more figures emerged from the flame, each somewhat in the shape of a different animal. The crack quickly closed and the flames that surrounded the figures dissipated, leaving a tall man and a panther, a black wolf, and a crow behind.
~1st POV~
I looked around, unfamiliar with the area.
"The fuck? Where am I?" I looked in front of me, seeing a man with a lanky figure, covered in what appeared to be human hands. Next to him stood a tall figure wearing a suit, who seemed to be composed of black smoke and bright yellow wispy eyes. I finally laid my eyes on some sort of bird creature, with a creepy grin and its brain showing.
"What kind of fucked up place is this? Bro you are aware you're covered in hands... right?"
"Nomu... get rid of him." I smirked as my familiars stood next to me, their white eyes brightening.
"Tomomi(crow, no gender, means wisdom and good truth), find information on our location. Reiki(panther, female, means healer), stay behind and find anyone hurt and heal them. Tomatsu(wolf, male, means defender and eldest son), stay with me and find any weak spots in this creature and attack it. I'll go head on."
        I sharply whistled and Tomomi left in a wisp of black fire as Tomatsu and I went head on at the creature. Smirking, I pulled out my black sword, the blade facing away and made a sharp incision in the chest of the creature. It screamed in pain as the large cut burst into flames and Tomatsu jumped on its back and dug his sharp teeth into the neck of it, tearing out a chunk of flesh. It tried to smack Tomatsu away, but he was too quick and jumped off.
"What are you doing to my Nomu?! Hurry up and kill them!!"
I was suddenly made aware of the people behind me, and I could detect no malice from them so I left them alone.  I split my sword into two thinner katanas, running at the creature again and going in a spinning motion as I slice off its feet.
"Let's go Tomatsu! Let's seal this bitch away!" Tomatsu barked in affirmation as he ran in front of me and jumped at the creature, making eye contact and blinding it. I took my swords and stabbed them into the ground, splitting and making large cracks leading to the Nomu.
The ground opened up and swallowed the blinded and screaming Nomu as it tried to escape its doom. Once the ground closed back I took my katanas and put them in its sheath, "Got any more weird creatures for me to fight, handyman?" I smirked but before he could respond there were sharp bangs from behind me. I jumped out of the way as the handyman suddenly was riddled with... holes?
"Tomatsu!" I called him to me and he ran over and sat in front of me.
"It seems like we're free, buddy." He licked my cheek happily and I smiled and kissed his head.
"I'll protect you guys. I don't want to lose you all."
He barked, 'We'll protect you too!' I laughed and scratched behind his ear, his tail waving happily.
"Teny Iida is back with backup!"
"Just you wait All Might... I'll kill you soon enough. And you... I'll be seeing you real soon.", the man turned and said to me in his scratchy voice.
"Suuure..." The man and his foggy friend left in what seemed to be a portal? Okay I am very confused... Hopefully Tomomi comes back with enough information...
"Hey you there, young man!" I looked up to see a man with blond hair and a weird red, white and blue costume on.
"Bunny?" I commented while looking up at the strands of hair that resembled bunny ears.
"Hahaha! Yes I suppose they do look like that. Can you come with me?"
"Yeah sure." I followed him as he led me to where the children were, along with other adults in weird outfits.
"What is your cat doing to Aizawa-Sensei?" I looked down to find the originator of the voice, seeing a boy with freckles and fluffy green hair.
"Aizawa-Sensei?" He pointed to a man in rough condition on the ground, with a couple of the kids surrounding him but fair enough away from Reiki.
"Ah..." I walked over to Reiki and sat down next to her, seeing her two eyes closed but the third one opened.
"How bad is he Reiki?"
'Very bad wounds... Seems as if his elbow was disintegrated and has many fractured ribs and other bones. He has a really bad wound near his eye. I'm trying to stop the internal bleeding and some of the ribs.' I smiled and kissed her head, "Thanks Reiki. Looks like your teacher is in really bad condition. Reiki here is trying to heal him as best she can."
"Your... cat is healing him?" I looked up and saw a male with pointy red hair with... shirtless sleeves?
"You do know you're missing your shirt right?" I pointed out and he laughed slightly, "Uh yeah. I designed it that way."
"Uh okay.... Well yeah she's the healer on my team."
"Young man you'll have to come with me. I'm Police Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi, I have a couple of questions for you."
"Sounds good! Reiki, Tomatsu, come." Reiki closed her third eye and went over to me, as Tomatsu bounded over happily and tripped on a rock.
'Idiot...' Reiki commented as she looked down at the eldest familiar in disgust.
'Oi! Rei-chan is being mean!' Tomatsu whined and butted his head against my back as I laughed.
"Be careful where you're running Tomatsu." I walked behind the Detective and out of the building, feeling eyes watching my movement.
"Uhm.. The fuck are those?
"Uhm... cars?", he said with an eyebrow raised.
"Yeah whatever they are... are they going to kill me???"
"Have you never seen a car before?" Tsukauchi turned and looked at me in concern.
"The last time I was out here we were still walking. Sometimes using horses. But nothing like this..." I looked at the machine up close, walking around it. The 'car' suddenly beeped and I jumped away with my swords out, "It's not going to hurt you. I just unlocked it."
"Yeah... Okay." I heard a caw above me and I looked up, "Tomomi!" I smiled as they flew down and landed on my shoulder.
"What did you learn?"
"We are in 20XX Japan. People now have powers called 'quirks', but 20% of the population is deemed 'Quirkless' or do not have these powers. These quirks can be transferred genetically through children, and sometimes arrange Quirk marriages to better the chances of a more powerful quirk. Most people with quirks go to certain high schools to study to become a hero. The top hero school is called UA or Yuuei, it is located in Mustafu, Japan and its principle is Nezu. The #1 hero is called All Might, who's quirk is unknown. The children you were protecting are students of this school, the newest class of UA. They are apart of 1-A, the top hero class. There are hero classes, Gen ed classes, classes for people going into business, and classes for people wanting to make support gear." they continued going on about this information as I soaked it all up, nodding with some understanding.
"What... is that?"
"I'll answer your questions after you lead me to wherever you were planning on interrogating me, oh detective sir."
