Adam Francis was one of the latest additions to the decent sized group of survivors. You were the fifth one after Dwight, Meg, Jake, and Claudette.

When he appeared at the campfire, the lot of you gathered and decided who would teach him the ropes of the game. You couldn't just throw him into a game and expect him to survive it.

Eventually, since nobody else wanted to take him in and help him, you did. Most of the survivors caught on fairly quickly, and by just the looks of him, you could tell he wasn't an idiot. So how hard could it be?

You remember walking up to him and holding out your hand. "I'm Y/n." You spoke, a kind smile on your face. After all, he was new and in an unfamiliar place, he was most likely frightened. "I'll answer any questions that you have." You softly told him as he shook your hand.

"I'm Adam.." He managed to speak. His eyes darted from person to person, examining them. You couldn't blame him. Most of them were covered from head to toe in dirt, mud, blood, and other substances.

"Don't worry about them. We're a team here. They won't cause you any harm." You spoke. "Follow me." You said, walking off into the woods. Adam was hesitant, but in the end, he followed you.

Normally Adam wouldn't even think about following a stranger into the woods when the sun was down, but you had such a kind and gentle nature, he just knew deep down that he could trust you.

Adam trailed behind you, his eyes darting around at all of the trees. He stopped once he saw you sit down on a fallen down tree. You glanced at the open spot next to you before looking at Adam, indicating that you wanted him to sit there. He got the message and sat next to you, looking at the small pond that was just a few steps in front of the two of you.

"They're kind of noisy. I apologize for that." You quietly spoke. Before Adam got the chance to tell you that he didn't mind, you spoke again. "Anyways, let me tell you what you're going to need to know to survive."

That was months ago, now Adam was a professional and one of the best survivors you've met. He was definitely one of the sneakiest. You had told him about perks and how to choose them, along that he should already have three of them.

After a while, Adam even taught you his perks. You're favorite was definitely Diversion. Watching the killer take off in a completely different direction from you after you threw a pebble over there was one of the few things that brought you joy in this place.

You sighed as you sat down on one of the logs around the campfire. Your back and feet ached more than they ever have. You had one of the most intense games ever today. You were chased for the whole game. You didn't even get to work on a generator at all.

"Damn. That was a good one." Adam's voice rung out behind you. You couldn't even bother to turn and face him so you just mumbled out a small 'yeah'. Adam sat down next to you and just looked at you. "Do you want a massage or something?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. Those words caused you to look over at him.

"I'll be alright. Though, I really appreciate the offer." You softly spoke. "I just need to lay down for a few."

Without any other words, Adam stood up. You figured he was going to walk away, but no. Before you knew it, with a swift motion, he had swooped you up in his arms and was making his way to your tent.

You wanted to object and tell him that you could have walked in there on your own, but you were too tired to even bother to do so. All you had the energy to do was just snuggle your head into his chest and relax your body.

It didn't take him long to make it into your tent and place you down on the bed. You reached your arm out to him as he began to walk away. He glanced at you before understanding. Without any words, he laid on the small mattress next to you and wrapped his arms around you.

You immediately felt at peace in his arm. Over the time span of your friendship, you developed a massive crush on Adam, which you, surprisingly did a pretty good job of hiding it from everyone, including Adam.

You looked up at Adam to see he was already looking at you. You simply just stared into his eyes. Though his eyes were only brown, and most people paid more attention to green or blue eyes, you loved his eyes so much. Especially when he was in the sunlight.

You couldn't even control yourself as you leaned in and pressed your lips against his. You expected him to push you away and tell you that he didn't see you in that way. However, you felt his lips moving against yours and his grip around you slightly tighten.

Once the two of you broke apart, you looked into his eyes once more and couldn't help but smile. No words needed to be spoken for you two to know that you cared about each other. You allowed yourself to look back down and snuggle into his chest, slowly drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
