The hard work of a Shinobi#4
3rd person pov:
Itachi has explained all that Noburu needs to know about the sharingan right now. Noburu is interested to do anything in order for him to become one of the strongest. How will he take training from Itachi?
1st person pov:
Itachi explained to me a lot about the sharingan and all that I need to know about it. After he was finished explaining to me what needed to be explained to me, I then ask with confidence "So what training is required for me to get to that level?"
As he was about to explain the sky suddenly turned dark as the rain came falling down on our faces. He stopped and looked at the sky for a moment and we entered a few seconds of silence. He then looked at me and said "You must increase your strength. Most things revolve around strength. Especially speed unless you off ground. The only thing that basically doesn't is endurance or stamina. So for now you must do that and I will try to have Kisame teach you that."
"I see," I say smiling at Itachi and then ask if there is something I can do for now. Itachi turned around and said, "For now you can do the basic workout."
"What is the workout?" I asked.
Itachi replied and said, " 5000 push-ups, 300 setups, 1000 squats, plank for about 4 hours then run about 70 laps around this area"
I was shocked to hear that. I couldn't even do 40 pushups now here I should do 5000? let alone the others as well. I never know what to say to that. With my face in shock, I asked when I would get this done. Itachi said, "When you are done come and tell me. Don't rush it but it must be done before 2 weeks if it is not I'm sure you know what I'll say"
I was a little stunned that I had to go all that way within 2 weeks but I had no choice. I needed to get stronger in order to protect the innocent and the people who can't protect themselves and I have to train to get somewhere and whatever it is I'm willing to do it because this is what I live for.
I then started to do as many push-ups as I could and I only made it to 53. It was past my limit but I knew that I couldn't give up yet. That's when I thought of working smarter than rather harder. I thought that instead of using pure strength what if I could use chakra to boost the process and then from that I remembered that when I was fighting the 5 tailed bijuu. I remembered that when I landed the final hit on it I managed to somehow use chakra as my strength which increased my strength not only for that moment but also a little on the long-term side.So I decided to try to do it this time but it never worked. So I tried again and again and again and again but it still got nowhere. At the same time, I was thinking of every little moment that happened when I was using it in that fight. I also noticed that it was different compared to what medical ninja normally uses in the Hidden mist so it was harder. I remember that when I tried to use chakra to increase my strength at that time my chakra turned into an orange color which was unusual because normally it turns into a sharp blueish color. I was wondering if that was probably another ability of my Mangekyou but I can't use that ability anymore as it has a great risk on me. I wanted to ask Itachi but he told me to only come when I finish the task he gave me.
I knew that I had to figure it out somehow but I couldn't tell what that was exactly. I thought about it for like 3 hours in the rain and then I remembered that every shinobi has yin and yang chakra which may be the course but I was unsure about it. I decided to ask Konan-senpai what it might be so I went out in hopes to find her at the hideout. I went to the hideout and there I found Konan-senpai and the leader.
Pain noticed me then asked me what I wanted from them and Konan-senpai gave me a smile then said "Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Yeah actually... I wanted to ask you something concerning chakra" I said being doubtful. Pain looked at both of us and said "I will be going now then. Konan, don't be late"
"I won't" replied Konan-senpai.
After she told Pain that she asked me what I wanted to know. I then looked at her and using hand gestures at the same time while I was speaking I asked "Is it possible for a person that is not a jinchuriki to have a different color chakra that is visible to the eye but it's not blue?"
Konan-senpai smiled and said to me "There is a theory about it but no one was actually able to do it. You see how it works is a shinobi has yin and yang chakra which I'm sure you already know but, that wouldn't really be the case because even if you had good control over both of them it wouldn't really answer your question unless we involve senjutsu. You see, senjutsu is basically nature energy so you are using chakra from things around you but it's not your personal storage. Now with ninjutsu, it's the other way around because you are now using your own chakra and not nature chakra. For a user to find how to control yin and yang chakra is extremely rare but all shinobi have it. For a user to learn senjutsu is quite rare. But how this relates?
Basically, in order to do this, you have to combine Senjutsu and your own chakra equally.
You need to have the ability to use yin yang release and combine it with senjutsu accurately but hardly anyone can use yin yang release to even start with. As I said every shinobi has a yin yang release that is how jutsu is created but to control it to manipulate it to that level is unbelievably hard for an ordinary shinobi and will take years of training. So does that say enough?"
I looked at Konan-senpai and was wondering if I had that too. I never believe that I had that or I could do that because I don't even know senjutsu let alone having yin yang release which I doubt I have. After what she said I wanted to believe that I never do that but it had to be it. I must have somehow luckily done senjutsu and the yin yang release but I don't know-how that's possible. If I had actually done it, it was a 0.0.0.1% of me actually getting it right.
Konan-senpai then said to me that she should go because she never wanted to keep Pain waiting for too long and she left afterward as she said goodbye. I went back to where I train and the rain finally stopped a while ago. I must try to do something because if I don't I'll suffer. I had no choice from here on but to use my sharingan. It doesn't induce blindness because it isn't a Mangekyou but It has a lot of strain to it. I then decided to do push-ups for today and I have to reach 5000 but I'm willing to put in the effort. Using my sharingan I realized that it doesn't only drastically increase mental memory but also muscle memory. Each round I did push-ups I could do 10 more the next time I did it but that means my sharingan has to be active all-day because if it is not I won't progress as fast and I have to do 5000 by the end so I had to attempt to do at least 500 rounds of push-ups by the end of this night and I won't give up until I get it right. I tried and progressed and tried and progressed and tried. I'm not ready to know about yin or yang or yin yang release yet but I'm not gonna give up. After I tried about 470 times I finally could do it although it was past midnight now so I decided to get a few hours rest before tomorrow because I probably won't be able to move my arms tomorrow... Or today. I woke up after a few hours and went to go freshen myself up. My arms felt like it was about to fall off and I couldn't even feed myself so I said that for today I won't eat. I remembered that Itachi said I must do 300 set-ups so that was a relief unlike 5000. I could already do about 30 so I needed to do at least 27 rounds of it. I went ahead and wasted no time and started it right away. Completing the task of 300 I figured that I finished it way before I planned to but my eyes needed some sort of break so I decided to rest for about 3 hours and start with the next session. After 3 hours my eyes seemed a little bit better. I noticed that I am becoming more used to my sharingan and that itself made me happy with myself. My body was really finished but I had no time to worry about my body right now because what comes first is my training. I then decided to move on with my other training and was feeling a little bit hungry. I decided to ignore that and carry on with training. I see that it's squatting for today and it's 1000 of them. My sharingan seems fine to be used so I'll use it and I'll probably manage. I need to do at least 60 since my highest is 40. After about 3 hours it was getting dark and I just finished. I said to myself that for the next 2 days I will have to rest otherwise I'm putting a heavy strain on my muscles and body, imagine moving from 50 to 5000 in a day and the next day no rest again. I knew that if I kept going like this I was not going to get stronger but rather destroy my body and I was at my limit.2 days later
My body is feeling a lot better than what it was before these 2 days of rest. I finally woke up yesterday and got something to eat. It is now the fifth day since Itachi gave me my objectives and said I must have done it in 2 weeks' time and 5 days have passed. Today I am doing a plank for 4 hours to see my result on the other 3 that I did since a plank requires all of the strength from those past 3 workouts that I did so I decided not to use my sharingan because I wanted to see my own result plus if I fail I have to retry for another 4 hours so there was no wasting time on this one. I went to my training ground and got everything set up and started training. After 3.1 hours I failed and fell down and was frustrated by that because I almost made it. I decided to activate my sharingan now for the second attempted and made it to 3.6 hours this time. I was happy that I improved but not that I failed right there and got even more frustrated. I tried the second time and luckily I made it to 4.1 hours and felt happy that I made it there in a day after over 10 hours finally. I then take a rest and the next morning my elbows and hands actually opened up because of doing a plank for so long. I went to get them treated before my training and that's when I remembered that today is endurance and stamina and that was probably one of the hardest things for my objectives. As soon as my treating was completed I went to the training grounds and got a map of the area on the way back. I saw that the area was a lot bigger than I expected. It was about 21 miles in total and I had to run 70 laps around this and that was when I knew this might take me quite a long time to accomplish but I will definitely do it before the 8 days that are left. My sharingan during this session was not an option because I needed to find the best way to increase my stamina. The first day I attempted it and I made it 49 laps in 46 hours so I obviously became extremely exhausted by that. I have about 6 days left so I hope that I can make it in time. I get some rest and overslept without noticing and now I have 5 days left. I have no choice but to pick up speed and run as fast as I can. I made it to the training ground and as soon as I made it I warmed up and sprinted with my sharingan. This time it took me 50 hours to complete and I was glad to make an average timing of 1-minute per mile. Afterward, I passed out of dehydration and Kisame-san carried me to a river, woke me up, and told me that there is water right here. I then drank the water and right after I asked Kisame-san "How did you find me?"
"I have been monitoring your training from when Itachi left. You did well and pushed yourself even beyond what could be beyond your limits. I acknowledge you as a shinobi from today because what you just did was basic training for Joins and so forth. Itachi put you through that kind of training to actually see if you are worth training because most people wouldn't have passed that kind of test. 8 years old wouldn't but you seem to be a different breed. Itachi and I will both train you from now on. You did well Noburu. You pass" said Kisame-san giving me a smile. I was so relieved and satisfied with his reply, I felt good about myself and I felt that I could do anything at that moment. Kisame-san then said to me sitting down and resting his sword next to him that and said "I told Itachi to meet me here. I'm sure he'll be surprised when he sees you though but for now, you can get some rest."3rd person pov
