Most of the girls fall for stars
Stars that are hard to reach
Still, they took the risk
As they continue to love them in any means

Some fell for basketball players
Who possess skills and well-built body
How they shoot the ball effortlessly
Is the reason why girls go crazy

Some fell for singers
With warm and golden voice
The way they sway with melodies
Made the ladies pee on their panties

Some fell for dancers
Who dances with their beating hearts
With a smile on their faces
They made the girls speechless

But in my case, I fell in love with a poet
A poet who's less admired by the rest
Simply because he's not popular
He's not even a star

He's just a man made of words
Mixed with wonderful simile
With a touch of metaphor
In every corner of his soul

But,
it hurts knowing
that he's already in love
with another poet

Truly, there are things
that were not meant to be
just like you and me
Still, you will always be my
brightest star
And I'm your biggest supporter
from afar.
