he didn't get much sleep not until 3 in the morning. and so he woke up groggily. he just remembered he was supposed to find a job today so he got up and stretched. his mattress was still bare and he decided to unpack everything tonight.

what if i knock on the guy next door? he thought. 

he took a shower and got dressed in a more casual but presentable way. he brushed his hair and got out as quick as possible. 

it was still early in the morning so jaehyun figured no one goes to work as early as this. and so he grabbed his bag and proceeded to the door next to his. he made sure to lock his door in case of burglars.

he sighed and shook both his hands before knocking on the wooden door. he planned to show a little temper since the noises kept him all night--it might happen again, so maybe it could be toned down.

but as the door opened, his jaw dropped open.

he's beautiful. he thought.

but aside from that, it wasn't just the pretty face that caught him off guard--it was in fact his choice of clothes. just a robe. an open robe where his panties are seen. was jaehyun okay? no.

he gulped at the sight and went at lost for words.

"yes?"

his voice sounded normal--suited his physique actually, but he could've sworn that wasn't the same voice he heard from against the wall the night before.

why is he okay showing his body to strangers? jaehyun thought.

"eyes up here, boy." the man snapped and jaehyun quickly shook off his thoughts.

"uhm, yeah. i'm jaehyun, i just moved next door yesterday. i'm just gonna ask you to tone down the sex at night. i don't know until when it's going to continue so as early as now, i'm asking you to tone it down." jaehyun said with a straight face.

"okay mr. new guy. i'm taeyong and i'm telling you as early as now, i live alone. there could possibly be no one i'm banging here. thank you for your time."

taeyong was about to close the door rudely to the man's face but it was brought to a halt when jaehyun used his foot for it.

he lowly chuckled confusedly before he spoke, "that can't be right. i know i heard moans from this side of my wall last night."

the boy from inside the room raised a brow mockingly before opening his door wide open. "do you see someone else here? no. because i didn't bring anyone home last night and i live alone. i'm telling you whoever it was you heard last night, it wasn't me."

and the door closed straight to his face. wow so much for welcoming your new neighbor. he thought before walking out of the place.

it was already night when jaehyun came back to his pad. he came home with grocery bags to fill his pantry and fridge. he was exhausted and it's only his second night in seoul.

he got a job so quick in a cafe nearby in the mornings. he became a barista since he likes making coffee and is very good at it. but he didn't have anything to do since he's just starting in seoul so aside from that, he got a second job as a bartender from across the block, but at nights. 

he chose to do his orientation around the cafe in the mornings and did his orientation in the bar in the night, so in the end he's pretty much exhausted all the way.
