i miss you // luke hemmings

Stella's POV

I woke to the sound of my annoying little piece of shit that's called an alarm clock.

"Stella, it's the day of your graduation." my mum screams from downstairs.

I had been waiting for this day for my whole life. Except I was planning on walking the stage with my best friend, Luke, but he's not here.

"Okay mum!" I yell while getting up from my bed.

I go to my closet to find a nice dress to wear to the graduation, even though I'm going to be wearing a blue cap and gown. I open the doors to find no pretty colors, all grays, blacks, and whites. I decide on wearing the only happy dress I have, and its a white dress with a black floral pattern on it.

I've wanted to visit Luke's mum for a while, so today would be the day finally! I go into my dresser to find clothes to where before the graduation started. I pick out some ripped black skinny jeans, and Luke's Nirvana shirt he had left here when we were in sophomore year.

I go to my vanity to do my makeup with the normal foundation routine, I put on some red lipstick that drys matte. I grab my Naked 3 pallet, I put on the shade Nooner, with a fluffy brush, for a transition color into the others, then I go in with the shade Factory and put that over Nooner to make it a little darker, and lastly I put the shade Trick on the whole eye lid to make them pop. I put the finishing touches on all the makeup with a little bit of a winged eyeliner look to change it up a bit.

"Okay mum, I'm going out before the graduation." I yell while grabbing my keys and walking out to my car.

I walk out to my Black Porsche I got on my sixteenth birthday. Pulling out of the drive way I can see Luke's mum, Liz, working in her garden.

"Hi Mrs. Hemmings! How's your day going?" I say stopping my car in her driveway to help her tend to her garden.

"I'm doing really great Stella. I've missed you, where have you been?" Liz said giving me some gloves to help her.

"I've been getting ready to graduate, and I've also started to sing again since Luke left." I say a little bit ashamed that I have stopped singing when Luke left.

"Remember when Luke made you stay outside the computer room when he first made his YouTube video on hemmo1996. What was it again?" Liz asked chuckling to herself.

"It was Please Don't Go by Mike Posner. He was ashamed that he was singing in front of a web camera!" I say laughing along with Liz.

FLASHBACK

"Don't come in with me Stella!!" Luke screams with red cheeks. It was his first YouTube video on hemmo1996.

"Awe come on Lukey. I sing in front of you all the time!" I plead Luke to let me watch.

"No! Or I won't do it." Luke says pointing to the wall for me to sit against it. "and that's final."

"Okay fine." I say huffing.

FLASHBACK ENDS

"I miss him. Do you know when he's coming back?" I ask hoping it was soon.

"Ummm... I don't know... he never told me when they would finish touring." Liz says rushed looking around like someone was watching her. "I think you should go Stella. I have things to do and I don't want to bother you."

"Okay Mrs. Hemmings. I'll see you later!" I say while walking away holding a peace sign to her.

"Haven't I told you before to call me Liz." Liz says laughing.

"Okay then, goodbye Liz." I say chuckling.
