I run to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I grab towels from the linen closet and walk into my bathroom. I put my music on shuffle and the first song that comes on is Try Hard by 5 Seconds Of Summer, just because I don't communicate with Luke anymore doesn't mean I can't listen to their music. I walk into the shower and turn on the hot water. I grab my favorite shampoo and conditioner, Not Your Mother's Way To Grow. I use my Stress Relief for a body wash. I also shave my legs.
I finish the shower and go to my room to change. I put on the white dress with the black floral pattern. I walk over to my vanity just to put on mascara and some eyeliner.
I grab my cap and gown off of a chair from my room. I walk downstairs to find my mom crying at the table.
"Mum. Why are you crying?" I ask my mum. I haven't seen her cry this much since dad died.
"My little girl is growin' up!" she says in her thick southern accent. My mum had moved to Australia when she met my dad, and then she had me.
"Mum. I'm not going anywhere. I'm just starting a new chapter in my life. You're still going to be in it I promise." I say hugging her.
"Okay. Let's just get going! It's your big day Stella." she says rushing me out of the door. A lot of people have been acting weird today.
{at the graduation}
"I would like to present an award for our scholar singer. This is the first year we are doing this. This person who is winning this award is an amazing singer/songwriter. She has outstanding grades, and to present this award is an old student that went here, Luke Hemmings." once the lady said that Luke was here, I almost cried.
"Hi everyone, so this award goes to a girl I've known for a while. I haven't talked to her in a long time, I really missed her over this year. She may think I have forgotten about her, but I promise I haven't. This award goes to... Stella Moran." Luke says smiling at me. "I also have to include that our management wants you to open up for our next tour."
