CHAPTER 8
When something dies, let it die.
That was a sentence imprinted within Aron's mind.
A five-year-old kid wouldn't have learned it by himself, no.
His dad always said that if a person has no use anymore, dispose of it.He had used this thought throughout his teen life. Disposing of one man after another until he broke free from his father's leash.
"Where is she?" he snapped at Elias, "I don't know! She said she'll go to the restroom!" he didn't waste time hearing Elias' sobs, he searched for Dawn as he headed to the restrooms where Elias claimed she went.
Aron stopped in his tracks as he saw a red cloth pinned under a pile of the collapsed ceiling. He instantly sprinted towards it and saw Dawn.
She was under a lot of concrete rocks, but luckily she was just unconscious and the ceiling didn't squash her, although her head was bleeding. He graciously removed the stones so it wouldn't drop on Dawn.
As he succeeded, he carried Dawn's bride style, and hurriedly brought her outside the building. His men already called a bunch of ambulances, and he carried Dawn to one to get rushed to the hospital. The minority got badly injured, the others had small injuries or just being covered with soot.
"God damn," he cussed,
--------------------------------
"Elias! I told you to keep an eye on her!" Aron approached him, fuming with anger, and punched Elias.
"I'm sorry Aron, she told me she'll go to the restroom, I-I didn't know this would happen" Elias wiped his blood dripping from his nose.
Aron breathes, as deep as he can and tried to calm his nerves and anger.
"How is Mia?" he asked calming down,
"She's safe, god, I don't know what to do if something ever happened to her"
"That's good news"
"Now, who the fuck did this?" Aron said, with spite and anger hinting from his voice.
"Our men are investigating it. It seems like the bomb wasn't planned. It was there just moments before the explosion which means one of our guests might be the culprit.

Monitors beeping are the sound only she heard as her eyes fluttered open
"What?" she panicked, causing the heart monitor to spike, as soon as it did, a doctor and nurse came rushing in. They were surprised that Dawn was awake.
"Ms. Brook, don't take off the IVs, you're fine, you're safe, this is the hospital," the doctor said.
"Wha-what-why am I here?" her voice hoarse, she hadn't drunk for a while.
"There was an explosion, the building collapse, it was lucky Mr. Than found you and sent you directly to the hospital.
Than? she questioned, "Who is Mr. Than?" The nurse and doctor looked at each other for a while and smiled at me sadly.
"It seems you've lost some memory," the doctor said,
"I-I-I-I don't remember... much" Dawn stuttered,
"Do you remember your name?" she asked,
"Uh, I- don't-"
"Your head has been badly injured, that explains your memory loss. We're going to do some tests to make sure there's no brain damage. Mr. Than would be happy to see you awake" the doctor said.
Dawn nodded and the nurse checked her vitals, temperature and adjusted her bed to make her more comfortable with her position and they both left after the doctor said the issues for her health and the appointments for the tests.
She leaned back, sighing.
"Where would I go? I don't even know myself" she whispered.
She drifted off, with negative thoughts running through her head.

She woke up as she felt the bed dipped on her side. As her eyes wandered to the side, a pair of familiar dark green eyes stared her back, with dull emotions but it lit up as she stared unto them.
"Dawn," he breathes out.
'Did he know me?'
"Uh... d-do you know me?"
He didn't reply for a while, but his face remained stoic.
"You know me, I know you" his voice sent shivers down her spine. Was that a good thing? she asked herself.
"I'm sorry that I don't remember, b-but h-how do we know each other?" she asked cautiously.
"You ran me over with your car," he said,
Dawn's eyes widen as she heard him.
"I-I'm sorry!"
"Don't worry, I was fine, and that was the luckiest day of my life,"
Her mind was filled with confusion and curiosity. As Aron noticed he chuckled shortly. Something in that chuckle of him tugged Dawn's heart which made her more confused.
"Why?" she asked,
"Well... it is because I met you," those words made Dawn happy, even if he said it with his natural stoic face.
"What else do you know?" she asked,
"We live together," he said seriously.
He planned to not tell her about him kidnapping her, or forcing her. He wanted to change that. He wasn't sure how at first, but her losing her memories made the opening.
"WHAT?!" she yelled unconsciously, she then quickly covered her mouth regretting shouting.
"W-what kind of re-relationship... do w-we have?" Aron smirked,
"You're my woman, and I'm your man" he replied,
Dawn was slightly blushing the whole time, she didn't believe that she was in a relationship with a good looking man. Good looking wouldn't even describe him, but panic also was in the corner of Dawn's mind. She doesn't remember her feelings, but she's sure he was telling the truth.
He didn't lie, but he didn't tell the whole truth.
"Don't fuzz Dawn, I'll take care of everything, trust me" Aron said,
She did.
And that felt strange to her. How could she trust a man especially with her state?
But she was agreeing to Aron without hesitation.
"What's your name?" Dawn asked,
The start of a makeshift lie,
"Aron Than"
