Ellie's POV
it's the morning after that whole mess and everyone had a day off. some were to mourn the people we lost yesterday and some just sat at home to calm themselves down after that whole mess.
me?
i'm getting my wife back.
Dina wants to come with me and Tommy does too. he may not be helpful with upclose combat but he is a good shot. i could use him.
i looked around my empty home. thinking of the worst. what if she's already dead? what if we don't even know where they went. i looked down shaking a bit.
"hey..."
i turned to the voice and it was Maria.
she came up to me and gently patted my back.
"dont beat yourself up over it.. y/n's strong and she'll be alright o-"
"she wouldn't even be in this mess if I got too her quicker" I said cutting her off. i am beating myself up about this whole thing but I did blame myself partially.
i shouldn't have left her alone. i should've stayed with her and made sure she was alright.
"Tommy wants to talk to you" Maria said with a small smile trying to make me feel better. i just nodded and she led me too her. i didn't mean to sound rude or anything I just wasn't in the best mood.
she led me into a room where Dina and Tommy were standing. there was a table in the middle of the room and a map. i looked at it and they had some things circled.
"what's all this" I asked looking at the map.
"this is where our little friends are.. we went out this morning and they had.. already left back to where their main camp is... but we found this map at their camp that was left behind and we think we found their main camp"
i was obviously more intrigued to this.
Tommy pointed at what was circled.
"the bad thing is... is that it's really far away. we're in Wyoming and this is California... Los Angeles to be exact. So we-"
Maria cut him off and said "you guys are taking one of the cars". I smiled a bit and said "really?".
"y/n's like my family and so are all of you so I want her back as quick as possible. you can take one of the gas cans with you we filled them up last week".
i hugged Maria thanking her. they wanted her back just at much as I did.
y/n's POV
i woke up and all I remember was everything that happened in Jackson. i looked around the room was in and noticed it was pretty much a jail cell. my hands were chained to the walls too. this reminded me too much or WLF. where was I anyway.
i looked around the room and then saw a camera.
creepy.
someone walked up to the bars and said "finally away huh?". i looked at them. it was a female who looked a little older than me. she had a cigarette in her mouth too. she opened the door to the jail cell then locked it back once she was inside.
she crouched down and looked at me.
she grabbed my chin and moved my face to the side looking at my features.
"my names Kara and looks like your gonna be here for while y/n"
"how do you know my name?"
"we know a lot more about you than you think we do. you see... we were actually good friends with the uh.. the wolves and I recall that... you killed many of them and then that lead to their leader dying and then we lost the group we traded with.. then you killed one of our own so we just took you" the girl said with a smile on her face the whole time.
i didn't respond nor make eye contact with her at all.
she sighed
"anyway"
she smoke her cigarette then blew it into my face and said "time to go or Damion will get mad". she pulled her cigarette out from her lips then put it out on my forearm. i winced once she did and she walked away like nothing happened.
