Chapter Five

(Phone Ringing)

A girl was inside her room when she heard her phone ring, but when she saw that the caller is another unregistered number, she felt shivers down her spine.

"It's him again...he's calling again, but what does he want me to do this time? No... No... What should I do...? She thought to herself. She let her phone ring once more before answering it.

"H-hello? What do you want?! Why do you keep on calling me?!" She shouted.

"Hello? Honey why are you shouting? Are you okay?" The voice on the other line sounded familiar.

"M-mom?!"

"Yes honey, did I startle you? Sorry about that, my phone died and I need to talk to you about something urgent, so I asked my new secretary if she can lend me her phone for a moment." Her mom replied.

"O-oh. l see." She said while trying to calm herself down.

"Are you okay honey?" Her mother asked again.

"Eherm, y-yes mom of course." She cleared her throat so her mother won't notice that she's panicking.

"Are you sure? You were shouting when you answered, is there something that's bothering you?" Her mom sounds worried so she tried to act normal.

"Nothing mom, by the way what was that you wanted to talk about?" She changed the topic.

"Oh! Yeah, your sister will be coming home this weekend and she wanted to see you but I told her you're still staying at the school's dorm. Your sister and I are planning to just visit you there on Sunday." Her mother explained.

"Okay then mom, see you." She answered then pressed the end call button. She's been feeling very stressed these past few days because the anonymous caller that's been bothering her since last month, she was forced to do things that she normally doesn't do and it's driving her crazy that every time she wants to go against him, her secrets were used as a blackmail.

"I want to get out of this shit of a deal deal! But, how? He knows my every move, it's like he has eyes everywhere I go...What should I do?"

She was in the middle of her deep thinking she heard a knock on the door.

"Hey, you've, been there for a while you know. You need to go out too, we're gonna have dinner soon, you still feel unwell?" She heard the voice outside the door say.

She tried to sound enthusiastic "Eherm, Y-yeah, I feel a bit better now, I'm just gonna change clothes then I'll come out."

"Okay, we'll wait for you downstairs." She heard her say and then she left her.

After changing her clothes, she went down to where her friends are.

"We've been here for nearly a week you know and I'm starting to get bored, we can't do anything. Like we just stare at each other's faces after our zoom classes. Like wtf?!" Alice said while laying down in one of the couches in the living room.

"Me too... You know what? You guys are aware that we have this place for ourselves, right?! So why don't we make the most out of it then?" Charlee said with eyes glowing from excitement.

"What do you mean bro?" Simon asked lazily while laying on Angela's lap.

"Dude we can have wild parties here ey?! I've been seeing some online ads about parties and liquors from my newsfeed I can even see some of my friends on insta having some wild fun at clubs, so why can't we?"

"What?! You can access your insta?!" Alice exclaimed.

"Yeah, why?"

"The fuck Charlee how?! When we don't have internet connection here?!"

"Dude there's been an open wifi connection here since day three, sorry guys I forgot to mention. Well, you guys didn't ask anyways."

"I know that you faggot! But, how is that possible, before we we're locked up here our parents emptied our phone cards and the principal said they have disabled wireless connection, the only thing connected to the internet was the computer that was operated by the school for our class projection?" Alice said without pause, this made her friends think of it too.

"Alice is right, why would they suddenly provide us with wireless connection if in the first place they want us to not have that at all?" Rika asked too.

"You guys are thinking too much, maybe they've decided that letting us use the internet is not a bad idea. Maybe they think it's better for our studies or something." Angela, brushing the topic off.

"Maybe, but you know what? Whatever their reason is, it's good we have connection, it's been days since I last posted on social media. My fans have been waiting for my updates." Emerald said happily.

"But what if they accidentally opened it not knowing we can access the internet now? I suggest we don't post anything till we're out of here"

"How about my fans? They'll be worried if I don't post anything!"

"Just tell your manager to handle it duh? For now, we can only browse and look out the outside world from our phones. But, no posting okay? No selfies, no streams, no nothing. If we lost the connection, we'll be even more bored. Let's just enjoy it for now."

"Fine"

"Oh well, let's enjoy it then! By the way, Charlee, now that you've mentioned party, why don't we have some?" Alice excited about the idea went to Charlee's side and placed her arm his shoulder.

"I know what you're thinking Alice and I like it!" The two-high fived.

"Err? Guys? Care to share?"

"Here's the plan, some of our family members will visit us this weekend, my mom, Rika's mom and Angela's mom are friends, so they might come here together. If we can sneak a package of wine, vodka or beer without them knowing, we can drink here in our dorm and have a party!"

"But, how can we sneak alcohol here if we can't go out and buy?"

"Duh? Em! That's why we can order it online instead! We'll order alcohol online and tell the delivery person to just put some extra box on it so it won't be too obvious that it's liquor that's inside it! Tell me I'm a genus!"

"We-we-wait! But isn't that gonna make a sound like when you carry it?"

"Another DUH~! Emerald! If we tell them to like, wrap it with a lot of bubble wrap it won't make a sound, believe me!" Alice said proudly.

"Okay then, so who's gonna make do the orders?"

"Me, Angela and Rika each of us will order three bottles of different kinds of liquor."

"I'll do, beer" Angela presented.

"I'll be in charge of the vodka"

"Then ladies, I'll do the tequila!"

"Seems like we're gonna have a hell of a weekend ey?" Simon who was just looking and listening to them finally spoke.

"Yes baby! Can't wait to have a wild night again with you! Mwah!" Angela answered and kissed Simon on the lips.

"Ewe! Get a room you two!' Alice said in disgust and rolled her eyes.

"I guess we're gonna need some limes too, and there are no limes in the kitchen, I'll ask my manager to bring some for me this weekend."

"Good idea Em!"

"Gee! I'm so excited! We've been here for almost a week now, stuck and no fun at all!"

"True! I wonder how liquor tastes now haha!"
