"This building will be your dorm, boys will stay on the first floor and girls will stay on the second floor, classes will be done via conference on the other building which will serve as your classrooms, your teachers will have a conference with you while teaching, every room is equipped with the right tools for your studies to still be conducted, no need to worry about the rooms, they are clean, so is the tools and everything in this building and the school building as well. "The Principal showed them to their new home in school.

"Ewe! Why do we have to stay here?! Can't we just go home and be suspended for the rest of the semester?! Like a few days ago?" Rika complained.

"Young lady, if you think you can whine your way out of here, suit yourself, but let me tell you, this is approved by your parents and guardians, you will stay in this old school building and dorm for the rest of the semester. No questions asked, no complains and no special treatments! You need to learn from your mistakes and this detention is the only way we can straighten you all up!" The Principal firmly replied.

"No special treatments?! I don't understand!" Emerald exclaimed.

"It means, no servants, no cooks, no cleaners, nothing." The principal firmly said.

"If we have no special treatments how do you expect us to eat? Who'll fucking cook for us? Who'll wash our clothes? And who's gonna clean the rooms?!"

"Young lady, those will all be done by everyone, when I say everyone it means all of you. You will clean your own rooms, cook your own food and wash your own clothes, you will also be washing the dishes and utensils you use for cooking and eating, that way you can learn how to be responsible." Said the principal that made Simon's head heat up in anger.

"What did you say?! We're going to live like commoners in a school that we are paying tons and tons of money?! Are you fucking kidding me?!" Angry at what he heard; Simon flipped the table in front of him that nearly hit the foot of the Principal. The table broke one of its foot.

"Be more aggressive and out of control Mr. Griego and I assure you, you'll be thrown in juvenile detention. And I'll tell your father to pay for that table you just broke."

"Who's fucking scared of you huh?! Who do you think I am?! I am Simon Griego! I can do whatever I want! Whenever I want it! I can buy anything! Get anything I set my eyes on! My dad will provide for me and even if I kill you here right now! I will never be jailed for it!" Simon said confidently with a smile.

"Okay then, you're free to try young man. I'm not gonna be scared of your threats anymore, especially now that your father gave me the authority to teach you and your friends a lesson. I guess, your father is also fed up with all of your meaningless acts." After saying that the principal turned his back and faced two of the four guards he came with.

"Be sure to always close the gates at all times, no one shall enter this area, even if they are delinquents, they are still precious students of the school, if they do something, inform me immediately, their parents can visit them once a week. Food supplies and toiletries will be delivered two times week and only authorized personnel from authorized distributors can come and deliver it here. Nobody can enter and exit without my permission. Do you understand?" the principal instructed the guards.

"Yes principal."

And after that he flanked at the group of friends before turning his back and left.

A few moments after the principal left, Simon and his group started to plan on how they can escape their detention facility.

" Charlee, have you checked everything I asked you to?" Simon asked.

"Yes, the nearest highway from here is one and a half kilometers away, this place is equipped with surveillance cameras that's running round the clock. Guards are also everywhere; they have a monitoring room on the third floor of the school building where everything is being seen. From our dorm rooms to our classrooms, we cannot also just go out of the front gate, guards are also assigned there and one more thing, they have K9 units and wired fences, meaning, we cannot just climb up and escape. The only thing I'm sure of is the bathrooms are not equipped with any surveillance cameras" Charlee explained.

"Babe, what do you think should we do then? We cannot climb up and run afterwards, we cannot run through the front gate and we cannot even use the backdoor because there are dogs that's gonna chase us." Angela asked talking to Simon.

"If there are too much obstacles, we cannot get out, the only thing I can think of is pretend we've changed so we can get out of here as fast as we can. In the first place that is their goal, right? To lock as in so we can be reformed." Simon replied.

"Yeah, but how long do they plan to keep us in here? It feels like those security cameras, K9 units and guards are only placed here for us. When we went here last time, everything is still dirty and creepier looking, the fences were still not like that and there were no guards and dogs anywhere" Said Alice.

"I think so too, because no matter how young we are, we are still important to them, we are still sons and daughters of the most powerful families in the country, they can't just leave us alone, what if someone wanted to kidnap us? They'll just barge in and take us? Duh?" Rika said while rolling her eyes to the idea.

"Wait, you guys have been here before?" Emerald asked.

"Yep, you're new so you wouldn't know, we used to hangout near this old school building, sometimes we even come here to have some smoke, but we never went inside 'cause it's too dirty and creepy" Angela explained.

"We found a good place to chill near this area, beyond the woods there's a shallow river and above that is a small waterfall" Rika added.

"Really? That's cool, we should go there sometime after this fucking detention" Emerald excitedly said.

"Uh...girl we do not go there anymore" Angela said hesitantly.

"Huh? Why?"

"'Cause the last time we went there, we saw a large snake, and we're lucky enough to have killed it before it gets us, now back to the topic" Simon answered and they got back to the topic of escaping.

"Eherm, going back to the topic, If everything is impossible to escape them I guess Simon's plan is the best way out of here. But the question is, how long are we gonna keep acting normal before we pretend to have changed? We cannot change attitudes in a day, right? That will be too obvious." Emerald thought.

"Em has a point. Graduation is in three months; we cannot pretend to have changed like tomorrow or next week. So, we should all agree in a day that we can show that we've learned something and changed for the better or for the image they want to see from us."

"So, what do you think is the perfect count for a person to change huh Charlee?"

"Alice, according to my research, a person can change and adjust after a month or so, what do you guys think? Shall we pretend after a month of staying here?"

"Just thinking of spending overnight in this place gives me the creeps, how can you even think of the idea of staying here for a month?!" Rika complained.

"Listen, it's that plan or you can try climbing fences and be electrocuted or run and be chased by dogs"

"It's the best plan, 'cause if I were you Rika, I don't ever wanna get chased by dogs or die from being electrocuted!"

"Okay, fine! You guys win! We'll stay in this fucking place for a month! Happy?" Rika finally gave up and let her friends decide for what's best for them all.

"Before anything else, can we like think of ways on how to do stuff, we should have some division of labor or something" Charlee recommended.

"I guess we can do it by competing then, rock, paper, scissors will do"

"Okay then."

And the group started to play rock, paper, scissors the division of labor in their new dorm.
