The sky that was painted aesthetically with the colors of pastel is placed in a beautiful large canvas, enough to cover the whole planet. With the crowded streets of the city and loud noises of the environment, only the sky was capable of giving comfort.

I breathe heavily to remind myself that despite the society's harsh ways of degrading a person, I am still alive to prove that I am me and not someone else.

I look away from the mall's window with the purpose of adjusting my watch and getting my wallet to buy some popcorn. I was planning to have a movie marathon at my house as soon as Christmas week starts. I smiled at the cashier as she also returned my smile.

"Good afternoon ma'am, what can I do for you?" She said with a kind voice that can manage to melt your anger even if you're a stranger.

"I'll have some large plain popcorn and two ice tea please," I replied. Unlike hers, my voice is a bit raspy since my vocal cords were strained from singing too much and it'll probably get worst due to the lack of care.

"Excuse me, ma'am, are you Nesta Evergarden?" She blushed as she spoke shyly while playing with her fingertips.

"Ah, yes. I never knew someone can recognize me though." I laughed and she gasped in surprise.

"I mean, who wouldn't? You're the well-known idol with a pure voice who can draw out any emotion effortlessly! Additionally, you are currently rising with fame as an actress!" She squealed.

"Really?" I felt hot due to how flustered I am right now. I was busy to the point I couldn't touch my phone nor interact with my fans. I can still never forget how my name was still a nobody. That's why her reaction is new.

"Well, look around you, ma'am." She chuckled. I did as she told me to do and was met by cameras all over the place.

"I guess I have to start wearing disguise now." I sighed while the lady laughed.

"Alright. This is how much it'll cost." She simply said while showing me the monitor. I nodded and give her the amount of money needed. She swiftly moved her body to get my order. "Here you go, ma'am. Thank you and please come again so that I can charge my phone and take a picture of us both!" She grinned.

"Sure." I laughed and waved goodbye as the crowd gave way for me, still taking a picture.

I took a taxi to my apartment and indeed, it took a while for me to arrive due to the traffic. I sighed as I saw my messy apartment and quickly turned on the tv.

The taxi driver kept on talking about how a huge fan his son was to me to the point he got annoyed. Due to that, he got flustered and kept on saying sorry that he doesn't mean any hate towards me.

I look at the bag full of CDs that I borrowed from my best friend. I laughed when I noticed it was full of Royalties. She never failed to amaze me with her addiction to romance and royalties.

She usually nags about the fact that I love to watch horror than romance and this is why I asked her to prove that romance is better than horror. Never thought she seriously take the challenge.

"Dusk Till Dawn..." I mumbled as I read the title. It caught my eye since it almost looks like a title for Twilight and also has the same title as Zayn and Sia's song.

I flipped the CD's container and read the description aloud.

" 2 male nobles, 1 female commoner. A thorny Prince and a cursed Duke. Who shall the commoner return her love?" I make a face showing how disgusted I am and gulped knowing I should watch the movie for my best friend.

I put the CD in the DVD player and sat on the floor preparing my popcorn together with the ice tea. The movie finally started and I tried to focus as much as possible.
