Eyeless Jack's Point of View

The gray-skinned demon turned his head to look out the window. He didn't mean anything he said (even if it was all true). And his mind focused on Jenny.

She was his reason for not trusting people and for being rude and harsh in the first place. Also introverted.
"Uh, hey, Jeff," Jack turned to the smiling killer.

  "Hm?"

"I didn't mean anything I said." He pauses. "Are we driving to the cabin?"

   Jeff nodded. "Yeah."

   More awkward silence.

Jack studies Jeff from the corner of his sockets.

The killer's eyes were intensely watching the road. Jack stared back out the window. The sun was starting to set.

"Hey! What the fuck!" Jack yelled as Jeff turned the steering wheel, leading the car into the woods—the area they'd be staying as they killed on their victims (at least in this area).

Right as Jeff nearly ran into a tree, he slammed on the breaks.

Jack stepped out of the car and picked up a nearby rock. As Jeff hopped out, Jack walked to the trunk and pulled out the duffle bags.

Jeff ran towards the cabin, most likely to open it and make sure it was suitable for them to stay in.

Jack couldn't really resent him but a part of him wondered why Jeff seemed so narcissistic and yet put everyone above him.

He had seen Jeff do a lot of stuff, like pushing Liu out of the way one time Toby had thrown an ax in a fit of rage when Sully had taunted Toby about Lyra, his dead sister.

He had once thrown a knife at Laughing Jack for attempting to pour a cup of water at BEN. Hell, Jeff had even made Jack the slightest bit of confidence, even if he had threatened him.

Jack snapped out of his thoughts before walking over to the cabin.

He placed the two bags on the couch.

"Boo," Jeff jumped out of a corner.

"Frightening. Would you like to see something scarier?" Jack asked a slight bit of sarcasm in his British accent. A smirk formed on his face as Jeff nodded.

Jack tackled him to the ground. Jeff fell with a light grunting sound as Jack began to tickle him.

"Stop!" Jeff managed to say in between fits of giggling.

  "No," Jack mumbled.

"Fine," Jeff said, tickling the demon back.

Jack stopped, unable to move because he had been laughing so hard so Jeff eventually stopped.

"You're a weird person, Jacky," Jeff said, standing up. "But in a good way, y'know?"

Jack didn't know, but he nodded anyway. "Yeah, I know."

The demon stood up and walked back outside.

After a mile or two, he climbed up on a tree.

Jeffery fucking Woods, hm? I could of had Jane. Jane and I get along great. We're both kind of like cats. Didn't Jeff call me Cat-Man early, too? Maybe he's not to bad.

Jeff the Killer's Point of View

Jeff didn't know much about Jack but he knew he would've been labeled The Weird Kid at school. Maybe kids would've treated him like Connor Murphy (Jeff had once read the book, Dear Evan Hansen but only because Liu had talked to Randy about it once. Jeff was pretty curious after that.)

Jeff was here to kill because he was commanded. Put a small part of him wanted to get to know this demon.

Jack didn't talk about his past. No one did. Everyone knew Jeff, Jane, Liu, Nina, and Randy's backstories but that was simply because they were tied together.

Jeff set everything off. He was the first domino. Then Jane and Liu and Randy got here. Then he tried killing Nina because she kind of freaked him out, beating up those kids. He didn't want anyone else to become like him. So, he tried setting her on fire. But it hadn't worked. And she killed her mother and little brother.

And it shattered Jeff that he had broken Liu. He wondered how Nina felt about her brother's death.

Was she sorry? Did she think Chris was still alive? Even if he wasn't.

Jeff wondered what went on in everyone's mind even if it wasn't his fault. There always seemed to be so much he wanted to say but he felt as if he had an ego.

He wanted to walk up to Sally and hug her and tell her it would be okay and that he was sorry for what happened to her.

He wanted to walk up to BEN and tell him parents were assholes and that he was sorry he couldn't have saved him.

But, most of all, he wanted to say sorry to Jane, Liu, Sully, Nina, and Randy.

He wanted to say, "Jane, I'm sorry I killed your family. And I know you think I'm not but I really am."

He wanted to say, "Liu, Sully, I'm so sorry. I hurt you both. I'm sorry." And then he wanted to hug his brothers. (Brothers, plural. Because Liu and Sully are two very different people.)

He wanted to say, "Nina, I'm sorry. I caused you to go down the wrong path."

Then to Randy. He wanted to say he was sorry. Randy's father was an alcoholic. He had fucking raped Randy. And this made Jeff so pissed off. He felt like it was all his fault. it was just how Randy was raised. Randy with his stupid red hair and dark brown eyes.

Every time he wanted to say sorry, he felt like someone was stabbing his heart.

And it kind of hurt when Jack just walked out of the cabin.

Had he done something wrong? Was Jack mad? Did he make Jack feel insecure?

Questions like that always made Jeff think he was clingy. And annoying. So he tried not to show he cared much. And that made people hate him. He thinks. He was never really sure of much of anything.
