The Rickettsia Virus

It was a dark night. Cold and stormy. Wind blowing at 100 MPH. Two little girls running around in their front yards playing in the rain and puddles. Splash. Splash. One little girl named Susie age of 5 and her older sister Kat age of 7. Kat Splash Susie with water from a puddle on the ground. 

"KAT!" Susie calls out in a playful tone. Kat chases Susie all the way to the backyard as if they were playing tag. Susie laughs while she was being chased. "Imma get you!" Says Kat. "Not if I'm faster than you slowpoke" Susie turns her head to see how far she was ahead of Kat. Susie stops running when she gets to a puddle of water in the backyard. It was green like toxic slime. "Uhm Kat?" Susie Says in an unsure voice.

Kat walks over to Susie as you hear the water splashing and a thump on the ground. "What is it?" Kat Says as she gets to where Susie was. She looks at the puddle. "What is that?" Susie asks. "I'm not sure. Maybe someone just slime in our backyard and it got in the puddle." Kat says looking at Susie. 

"Okay," Susie Jumps in the puddle splashing both herself and her sister. "Susie!" Kat looks at her sister and laughs a little. Kat Jumps in the water too joining her sister. "Kat, It got in my mouth!" Susie says spitting trying to get it out. She manages to get the water out but the residue left inside her mouth starts to affect Susie.

 Moments later Susie starts to feel something in her stomach. She throws up in the grass as water drips down her face. Kat Looks at Susie. "You okay?" Kat asks out loud as the Rain picks up and bucketing down onto the two little girls. "I don't feel good sissy," Susie says as she throws up again.

Kat goes to Susie. "Do you want to go back in?" Kat asks. Then Kat starts to hear a slow growl coming from her sister. "Susie?" Kat says in a scared voice. With no response, Kat says her name again.  And again nothing but a small growl comes from Susie. Kat taps Susie on the shoulder. "Susie?" Kat says her name one more time. 

Then Susie Turns quickly and tries to bite Kat. "SUSIE!" Kat calls out. The growl becomes a vicious growl. Susie's Skin starts to peel off her body turning it green and purple. Kat starts to run into the house as Susie chases her. "MUM!" Kat calls out to her mum but she says nothing. 

As scared as Kat was she went to her mum's room finding her mum asleep. "MUM WAKE UP! SUSIE IS TRYING TO BITE ME!" Kat Yells in fear as she was going to die. Her mum wakes up fast. "What do you mean?" The mother asks. "Susie's skin is green and purple and she's trying to bite me!" Kat cries to her mum. "Okay Okay, Imma go-" Before she could get the words out a loud thump came from the living room. 

Kat's mum gets up and she slowly goes to the living room finding Susie eating the cat. "S-Susie," The mother says softly. Susie looks at the Mother. Her eyes red and doll. "Oh my, dear god!" The mother rushes to the phone calling the hospital. "Hello," Someone on the other line greets the women. "Help! Come now! My daughter is very ill! Her skin is green and purple and it's coming off of her body. Her eyes are red and doll" The Mother explains. "Okay Okay, we will send someone there. What's Your name and address?" The Lady says from the other line. "My Name is Jan Jinkens. I live at 2493 Johnson Rd," The mother says as she gets scared that she will lose a daughter. "Okay, thank you ma'am. Help is on its way." The lady hangs up. 

The mother turns around and sees Susie at the doorway of the Kitchen. She looks to the side, seeing an exit where she can go to the backyard. "Kat! Get to the backyard!" Jan Calls out to Kat. Sirens are going off in the background getting louder every minute. Jan Runs to the door and opens it. She looks behind her and Sees Susie running towards her. She quickly steps outside closing the door. 

She turns around and sees Kat. "Oh kat!"Jan says rushing to Kat hugging her. "Mummy I'm scared!" Kat starts crying in her mums arms. "It's going to be okay honey. Help is on the way," Jan keeps Kat close to her. The sirens get louder and louder. Then they stop. Clink. Clink. Bash. Glass breaks and pieces fall to the ground. Susie broke the glass and looked at the Mother and Kat. "Honey, I love you so much." Jan says. "Mummy! I don't wanna die!" Kat says. They look back up at Susie and she's running to them. Then...

The Medical team breaks down the front door rushing in. "Find the Girl!" One says out loud. They go through the house. "AHH!" Kat yells then it was quiet. They go to where they heard the scream. It was too late. The girls were gone. Flesh and blood on the ground as the rain washes blood away. The smell of flesh rotting fills the backyard and the house. The wind picks up more. 102 MPH. 

A loud thunder roars in the sky. They couldn't do anything. Another lost. The End.
