The buzzing of my phone was incessant, and I ignored it for as long as possible. the thought of him getting my number without me giving it to him was fucking creepy already. Although he did find me at my house, I should've probably expected that. It was already Saturday and it was a much needed weekend away from everything. I put on my black tank top with my spandex shorts and went downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed a bowl of berries and plumped myself down in the living room couch, desperately wanting to watch another episode of Gossip Girl.
"And who am I? That's a secret I'll never tell. XoXo, gossip girl." I whispered along with the television.
The couch shifted under me as my dad soon plopped down onto the couch next to me.
"what are you watching?" He asked.
"Gossip Girl" I whispered back while trying to keep my attention on the screen in front of me.
"So dorota told me that a boy stopped by the other day"way to go! You just killed my mood.
"So?" I asked rudely.
"Well" he cleared his throat"
"I don't know if you're mom did this yet but"
OHMYGOSH.
"But you're using protection right?"
I gagged in my mouth. No way am I gonna have the talk with him.
I got up from the couch.
"Woah! No.. We didn't have sex."" oh. But dorota told me there was uhmm. She heard. "
" no dad, no "
Just no.
he sighed smiling. "Oh thank god"
"My baby's still a Virgin."
"What the heck is that supposed to mean?"
He hugged me and said "I don't know. You're still my baby girl."
Noticing what he said, I took a step back.
He looked at me, worried about my actions.
The guilt got to me. I smiled and hugged him back. And he kissed me on my head.
We went back to the kitchen together with as we waited for dorota to make us our blueberry pancakes.
He asked about school and me and what i want to do in life. Most likely the most awkward conversation I've ever had but he's trying. I got to give him that though.
It was already around 1:00 and I had already gone up to my room. I took my phone into my hands and read all the messages.
(562)2743602: hey guess who? You should know me pretty well cause you're hands were all over me yesterday.
(562)2743602: you know you miss me
(562)2743602: and I know you put your phone on silent so you wouldn't see this
(562)2743602: now answer before I come there and take you out myself
SHIT. No he cannot come here.
"Sweetie. Somebody's here to see you" my dad yelled out.
"Shit" I muttered under my breath.
I fixed myself quickly and ran downstairs.
Seated on the couch was my dad with Prince Charming. I walked into the foyer and could hear them laugh about football and soccer and other guy stuff. This is just weird."What are you doing here?" I asked ace.
" well we're going out, remember?"
"Uh uhmm okay" I answered stupidly.
"Go get dressed. I'll wait in the car for you."
Instantly the hoarseness of his voice made me shudder but obediently I listened.
He turned around and I could hear him say " thank you for having me! Maybe we could go to the lakers game next Saturday? I have extra tickets."
" yea? Sure" my dad answered, practically jumping out of his seat.
Oh god no. This friendship can not happen.
