Chapter 2

Deei’s P.O.V

Another day had come, I couldn’t believe I was in London and to top it all off I got to spend this time with Lisa! Ronan had told us we would meet a special guest today. I was sitting here, in the car, on the way to the hall, in suspense trying to figure out who it was.

We had finally arrived, my nerves were all I could think about. Who was going to be the special guest? Lisa and I were going through what we were going to perform for them. Us, along with the others who had made it through to home visits were standing right in front of the stage, in anticipation, waiting for Ronan to announce who it was going to be.

“Please welcome, One Direction!” Ronan called out.

They were here, on the same floor as all of us, talking and laughing with us. All I can feel right now are the nerves building up inside of me, so I clung to Lisa, who was admiring the Harry signature on her sleeve.

I touched the boys’ signatures on my white snapback; the only one I was missing was-

“So, you guys nervous?” rang an Irish accent.

“Niall,” Lisa and I gasped. He smiled.

“So you girls nervous?” he asked again.

“You can say that again,” we replied.

“Don’t worry, I know how that feels,” he said.

We were up next for the home visits performance. I was jumping up and down.

“You’re up next girls,” said the woman behind the microphone.

We walked in to see One Direction sitting on a couch while Ronan was sitting on a stool next to them.

“Off you go girls,” he said.

And off we were, singing ‘Girl on Fire’.

Lisa’s P.O.V

“We did it, Dee! We made it to the live shows!” I said, victoriously dancing.

She danced along with me and we both started singing, “It’s your birthday, blow out your candle, open your presents!”

We walked to our new rooms of X-factor house. I jumped onto the bed, “I could get used to this. No parents, just music.”

“Uh, yeah. Speaking of parents, I need to call mum, be right back!” Dee called out before heading to the balcony.

I looked around, it all seemed like a dream. The rooms were modern, yet classical. The drapes were very classic, but the decor was modern. It all tied in somehow making it seem perfect.

I took out my note book and scribbled, ‘If this is a dream, don’t wake us up’ and stuck it up on the billboard that was facing a desk.

Dee came back, looked at the piece of paper on the wall and laughed, “Nice, let’s go to sleep. I’m so tired.”

Your hand fits in mine like it’s made just for me, but bear this in mind it was meant to be...

Urgh.

I was in bed.

And that was my ringtone.

And my phone is on the desk.

Oh, who cares.

I threw my pillow at it, but the phone just smashed to the ground.

“Oh sugar,” I got up to see the iPhone. The screen had cracked. Great. Now I need a new phone.
