Chapter 3

Lisa’s P.O.V

I walked out of my room in a white, aztec patterned, body hugging dress. Locking our door was Dee who looked flawless in a maroon coloured skater dress.

I was freaking out. You see, I’ve only had one crush in my whole entire life. His name was Tom and trust me, it didn’t work out well at all.

3 years ago - Year 6

“Hey Lisa,” Tom said as he walked over to me. That was the one year where I was separated from Dee, she was off enjoying high school!

“Hey Tom, what’s up?” I smiled, he had the most amazing blue eyes.

“Well,” he said shuffling his feet. I looked up at him, this was it, the moment where he was going to ask me-

“Can you give me your sister’s mobile number?” he said as he smiled up at me.

My sister, Emily was 3 years older than me, was in year 9 and had a boyfriend. Yet he still wanted her number?

“No!” I yelled in frustration. 

From that moment on my crush from Tom had disappeared.

Anyway, I’ve never dated, and definitely never been kissed. It’s embarrassing, I know. But I want it to be perfect. And of course I believe in the ‘you have to date before you kiss’ rule. 

“So are you ready?” Dee asked.

Dee on the other-hand, has had major experience in this field but she’s on a ‘break’ after her last summer fling in the Gold-Coast. Now her main focus is on Mitchel and I...

“Please tell you don’t have another plan!” I begged.

“Why? My plans always work,” she said cockily.

“Really? What about the one this afternoon?” I challenged.

“I was tired,” she sighed.

“Whatever!”

I checked my watch, “Crap!”

“What?” Dee asked, slightly panicking.

“We are 2 hours early!” I revealed.

“What! How?” Dee asked.

“Well, I think the time’s different at home... I must have changed it then somehow I forgot I changed it so I changed it again!” I rambled.

Dee tried solving the problem, “Okay, we’ll just go ba-”

The door suddenly swung open, and out popped five guys.
