Giving up

Kitty's P.O.V

People have been asking how Sky is. I just say I don't know. I want to know. It's killing me inside that they won't tell me. I stand up and walk towards the clinic. I see Seto and Robert talking. I stop next to them. 

"Have you hear anything yet?" 

"Seto." Robert said. He leaves. Seto looks at me. 

"They are still looking at him. But we need to come up with a plan now. James is on the move and we can't hold him for long. So it's over that's what I'm saying." Seto said. He walks pass me. Shock. That's all I have. Seto did not just give up?! I look at him. I run and grab his arm. Seto looks at me. 

"You didn't just give up." Seto pushes my arm off of him. 

"Jason, Ghost, Tay, Jess, Mitch. and Ty are the only ones who still want to fight. What's the point? Everyone else is busy with something else. Our leader is down. What else is there Kitty?" Seto asks. I say nothing. 

"Nothing." Seto said. He walks away. I look at the ground. They are not giving up. Never. I look up. Sky could give them hope again. I could tell when he was dead they lost it. They depend on Sky for so much that losing him would kill them. They need to learn to not put o much pressure on Sky and fight for themselves. I run after Seto. He's still walking. People are sitting on the ground. 

"So your giving up? Like that?" Seto stops. 

"James beat us with everything we have Kitty. There is no more hope left." Seto said. 

"You can't give up. None of you can. There has to be a way Seto." Seto looks at me. Everyone is looking at him. 

"We tried everything. Nothing works Kitty." Seto said. 

"You guys don't give up. Never. I bet if Sky was up he wouldn't give up ever." 

"That's because Sky is so stubborn that he can't even see when it is time to give up!" Seto yells. My eyes widen. Seto is the calm one. He never yells. He has changed. 

"It's like I don't know you anymore! Sky's stubborn that's true. But he is trying to keep Austin's dream alive. We all, everyone, we put so much pressure on him. We look up to Sky so highly that sometimes he's a completely different person. We depend on him so much that he can't think straight! He has so much stress on him, that if you give up, if all of you do. Don't you realize what that would do to him?! You guys take stress off of him, you leave he won't be able to do anything. He will won't be able to figure out plans or be able to lead the Sky Army. You guys are just as important to him. He saved you guys more then you can count. Most of the time he got hurt and he was still able to fight. That's Sky's way of be the stubborn guy he is. He won't listen to you about giving up if people are in danger. He me himself when he should have been in the hospital but was still fighting to save Jason." Seto looks at me. Everyone is looking at me shocked. I suppose no one has thought of Sky like that before. I clench my fists. How can he give up on Sky after all he has done for him?

"Still don't believe me? How about this? He took you in Seto. He took all of in. He took care of you and made you what you are today. You give up Seto, your stabbing Sky in the back. What kind of friend are you?" Seto is looking behind me. I look behind me. Sky. 

Sky's P.O.V

I'm fine. I hear yelling from down the hall. It sounds like Kitty. I walk down the hallway. I stop. I lean against the wall. Kitty is yelling at Seto. I would stop this. But I kind of don't want to. Seto looks at me. 

"He took you in Seto. He took all of you in. He took care of you and made you what you are today. You give up Seto, your stabbing Sky in the back. What kind of friend are you?" Kitty asks. Wait Seto's giving up? Like that? I didn't know that I was that stubborn. I knew I was. But man. Kitty looks at me. 

"I'm that stubborn?" Kitty smiles. 

"Come on dude. Yes you are. Your hard to convince to do anything." Seto said. I cross my arms. 

"That just means you have to try harder to convince me. What's this about giving up?" Kitty looks at Seto. 

"Seto and them are giving up." Kitty said. What?! 

"Your kidding right?" Kitty looks at me. 

"No. Ty, Ghost, Jess, Tay, Mitch, and Jason are still going." Kitty said. That's because they have their heads screw on right. 

"Ty, Jason, and Mitch knows what's at stake. I think the rest of you have forgotten what we are fighting for." Seto walks next to Kitty. 

"There's nothing left. James is beating us on all fronts. We have nothing left Sky." Seto said. I would never expect this from him. Ace. I have to keep that promise to her. 

"Seto there is always something worth fighting for. Last time I checked we had the attack of surprise." Seto looks confuse. He cross his arms. 

"No we don't. It might only be James. But he could easily control you , Ty, or me." Seto said. 

"Ty is strong enough to not be. James failed at me the first try, cause I used his power for my own advantage. If you keep talking like that he might control you easy. James controls your willpower and hope. That's the must easy to control. If you lose that. Your a walking target Seto." 

"How did he not control you?" Seto asks. 

"He's Sky Seto. You should stop doubting him before you regret it." Kitty said. I smile. So true. 

"But we don't even have a plan." Seto said. Yes we do. 

"Yes we do. Seto you found it in the temple." 

"What's that?" Seto asks. He forgot already. 

"Sixth Demise Spell." 

"How you know it would work?" Seto asks. I don't. 

"I don't know if it would work. It could end up killing us. But since when did any of my plans ever make sense?" 

"Never." Seto said.

"Wait why would you do something that could kill you?" Someone asks. I smile. 

"Because it's fun." 

"Damn right it is." Seto said. Kitty looks at us both. 

"I got to ask how many times have you come up with something that could kill you all?" Kitty asks. 

"Since I got to lead the Sky Army. So a very long time and we are not dead yet." 

"Of course." Kitty said.
