Arrows Hurt

Mitch's P.O.V

I feel something hit my neck. I stop. I pull out a dart. O no. I drop it and start running. Something hits my back. I look down. I see an arrow head in my stomach. I look ahead. I'm still going. I start running again. An arrow huts my back again. If they want Sky they will have to kill me for him. I'm not letting Sky go. I'm still running. Another arrow comes. I grit my teeth. I go on my knees. Three arrows in me are not gonna stop me. I stand back up and start walking. My vision is blurring. Another arrow comes. I'm still walking. I'm not letting them have you Sky. I go against a tree.

"How are you still standing?" Someone asks.

"I'm full of surprises."

"You should be dead. I don't know how that dart didn't kill you. But it should of." Someone said. Like I said I'm full of surprises. I continue walking.

"No don't move." Someone said. I feel more come in my back. I go on my knees. I'm still holding Sky. Someone goes in front of me. I'm sorry Sky for this but. I guess I'll have to fight. But I won't win, but I'll try. I drop Sky and push him tk the ground. I stand up. He looks at me.

"James I'm not surprise." He looks at me.

"I am. I guess you Sky Army are really tough. You have seven arrows in you. How the hell are you alive?" James asks.

"I don't question it."

"Your too weak to go on Mitch. You know your going to die tonight right?" James asks. I don't care. I will go out protecting Sky over surrender any day.

Tay's P.O.V

Where is Mitch? I look at Kitty.

"Thats it. I can't wait any more. I'm going after him." I rub out of the vase and into the forest.

Mitch's P.O.V

"Man you have really surprise me Mitch. Your a dead man fighting their last battle." James said. My vision blurs bad. I don't know where he is.

"O course. This is your last day. Say goodnight forever." James said. My vision clears. James is in front of me with an arrow aimed at me. He releases it and it goes in my chest. I fall on the ground. I see James take Sky and disappear. Pain is everywhere. Sorry Sky. I need to keep my eyes open.

"Mitch!" Someone yelled. Tay kneels next to me. She puts my arm around she shoulders. She stands up. She puts her hand on my chest. We start walking.

"O my god your really bad. Ten arrows I guess. How are you still alive?" Tay asks. She won't be able to carry me all the way to the base.

"You won't be able to make it."

"Yes I can. I'm not le-"

"I won't make it Tay."

"Yes you will. I will drag you if I have too." Tay said. My feet trip under me.

"Mitch." Tay said. I go on my knees. She goes on her knees too. I put my hands on the ground.

"Mitch please you can make it. Don't leave us. Don't leave me. Come on stand up. You can lean on me. I don't care, just please don't die." Tay said. I lay on my side. Someone needs to know where Sky is. Tay puts me on a tree. She's crying.

Tay's P.O.V

I should have took care of Mitch's wounds before I made him walk. I pull out the arrow out of Mitch's chest. Mitch yells. I lift up his shirt. Wait there's another arrow head in him.

"Mitch are there arrows in your back too?" I look at him. He looks at me. I put my hand on his neck.

"That doesn't matter. But James took Sky." Mitch said. He's talking like he is going to die. James did this to him. I take off my jacket. I wrap it tight around him. I rip off a part of my shirt. I press it hard on his chest. He grits his teeth.

"I'm not gonna let you die Mitch." I put his arm another my shoulders. I stand up slowly. We are very close to the base. Mitch was almost there. We start walking.

"Why not?" Mitch asks.

"Because you mean so much to me. If I lose you. I will feel like I lost myself." I grab his free arm and press it hard on his chest. I put my hand over his. He's gonna make it. I will make sure of it.

Mitch's P.O.V

I can see the base. We are almost there. My vision blurs. I suddenly can walk. I stop. So does Tay.

"You okay?" Tay asks. I feel the ground hit me.

"Mitch. Look at me." Tay said. Everything went black.
