After falling asleep from watching cartoons all night and listening to endless thoughts on what the heck was happening at that moment, you woke up first before Asahi could. You were resting your head against his shoulder and his head was resting against yours.

You looked at his direction and it just struck you, you were in love with this man. Everything about him made you fall deeper in love. His hair, his personality, his pretty eyes, just everything about him. You keep telling yourself that you shouldn't fall in love with him, because you had no chance at all. But, fuck it , you were bound to get hurt either way.

You stared at his lips for a few seconds, it was taking every fiber of your being not to kiss him already. But you couldn't... you couldn't bear to watch your friendship die just because of your stupid feelings.

❛ Asahi.. I lo- ❜

You were interrupted by Asahi waking up. Your blush spread like wildfire across your face as you just acknowledge what you were about to say.

❛ Morning, (Y/N).. ❜ He groggily greeted, rubbing his right eye as he adjusted to being in his awake state.

❛ G-Good morning to you too, Asahi. ❜ Your words faded as you said his name. Immediately, you stood up to prepare breakfast for the both of you.

Asahi only stared at you frantically preparing breakfast for some reason. So, this is what it's like to spend mornings with (Y/N). He smiled innocently while he watched you cook breakfast for a bit. Then, deciding to help you because he doesn't want to feel like a burden.

Mornings with (Y/N)...

Mornings with Asahi...

I want to be with her.

I want to be with him.

You thought to yourselves as the sound of oil crackling and the aroma of coffee spread across the room.
