Baekhyun patted my back saying everything would be alright, I couldn't believe what was happening, everything happened so quickly so suddenly it almost happened within the blink of an eye!
Me? I'm marrying Park Chanyeol? And why is that? There's no romantic story behind why I'm suddenly marrying Park Chanyeol. No romance at all I tell you.
We're getting married because of a strange contract, mum and dad never told me about anything, I just graduated from college last year and now I'm getting married! The heck?
It all happened like a month ago, our family got an invitation to a dinner party by the Parks,my parents were not surprised unlike me who was freaking out! "Do they already have a connection with the Parks and never told me about it?" I thought to myself,
We were driven to the Park residence and holy crap the mansion was grand, I could be saving of years and I'd never be able to afford even half of the enormous mansion, Chanyeol was also surprised to see me, since we had been classmates since high school, he just greeted me politely, and I greeted him back, I had known him since my high school, but we never talked much it's like we live in two different sides of the world.
Even during our high school days he had always been that one popular guy at school whom everyone idolized, while I was just a typical student, who just wanted to live a good life,
Somehow I ended up having a crush on him, it wasn't that kind of love sick head over heels for him type of crush, I just admired him from afar, cause that's where I'd ever get to, or so I thought...
I could still visualize Chanyeol's shocked reaction when our parents announced our marriage, he was confused mad and angry, I was just in shock,I guess I do admire him but I don't want us to end like this, you know... tying the knot by force...
Our parents would not hear from us, they did not care much they had decided on our marriage without consulting us first, but what could we do? We were below them!
So it happened, and now here Iam getting ready for the so called grand wedding, I haven't talked or seen Chanyeol ever since we were officially engaged but I don't think he wants to see me!
I was so glad to have my two friends Jisoo and Baekhyun besides me, they were shocked by the sudden news, Jisoo was ready to even send my parents to the court,
I'm so glad to have them as my friends, without them I would be all alone, my relationship with my parents is somehow complicated, it wasn't because of anything dark or because of any arguments, all of us just kept to ourselves, we never cared much about family time, that's why I'm used to our lack of communication.
"You'll do just fine Sehunnie.." Baekhyun confronted me, I was nervous to the core, "You'll have to be alone for a while,I need to go pick Jisoo up" Baekhyun said, "Okay" I mumbled, he patted my shoulder and he was out of the room,
I sighed deeply, "You can do it.. " I said looking at myself in the mirror,
As I was sitting there alone someone walked inside the room, "Came back so early?" I asked thinking it was Baekhyun and Jisoo,"Hello" a girl's voice said, making me look up, it was none other than Chanyeol's younger sister Park Chaeyoung,
"Oh... " I muttered, "I'm sorry for barging in without knocking" she immediately apologized, "It's fine... Not a problem" I said giving her an assuring smile, she smiled back at me,
"I'm Chaeyoung, your new sister in law! Call me Rose" she said politely, "Oh Sehun...you can just call me Sehun" I said.
"You look ethereal in that suit, do you know that?" she said, "Oh really? thanks so much" I said,
"Did you like the design?" she asked, "Why? I love it!"I said ,"Good cause I designed it myself" she said proudly, "You did? really?" I questioned her, "Yes I'm into designing a lot, someday I want to be a wedding dress designer" she said, "wow... That's so awesome.. Really you'd do great" I said, the Park siblings seem to be talented like very talented,
"Gotta go now... " she said, "Okay see you later" I said, she soon walked out of the room, "She seems nice thank God" I thought to myself,
Soon enough Jisoo walked in with Baekhyun, she was from a high class family too but she humbled herself and totally did not act like a rich spoilt brat, she was just herself, dorky, nice and funny, anyone would be joyful to have a friend like her, including myself.
"Break a leg!" Was all my two friends said, as I had to walk down the aisle with hundreds of people whom majority I had no idea who they were,
Everyone was looking at me as I made my way to Chanyeol, some in awe, some just blankly, and some were probably judging me, Chanyeol looked breath taking, with his blonde hair styled up, wearing a dark suit which matched mine, except mine was matched with a white coat instead of a black one like Chanyeol's, he maintained a straight face, off course I did not expect him to be smiling adoringly at me, like in movies and fairytales.
Thank God the wedding ceremony went smoothly, I ended up stuttering while saying my vows and I could already hear my two friends snickering from behind me, "I'll sue those two for real" I mumbled to myself,
The ceremony was done and we had to go and greet the guests, Chanyeol did not even look at me, he just walked away to his best friends Kyungsoo and Tao, I sighed inwardly, then walked towards my friends,
They were enjoying sneakily trying out every dessert on display (me at weddings exactly lol)
"You two little freaks!" I said to them,
"Shut up! Let's try the butter scotch dessert next" Jisoo said, I laughed and followed them, "Aren't you going to go and greet the guests or something?" Baekhyun asked stuffing cake into his mouth,"No my parents can do it.. " I said rolling my eyes, "Then join us... " Jisoo said handing me a cake, "Thanks" I said, taking a big bite of my own wedding cake.
