32 [Misunderstandings and apologies]

Chanyeol's POV

Tired and annoyed I drove back home to an empty house, where could he go? Not that I should care! I groaned plopping myself down on the nearest couch, I took my phone out and finally turned it on and right there was a message from Sehun, Baekhyun was on the hospital? Is he okay? Maybe that was why Sehun was upset and Lay was just trying to consult him... Maybe I was overreacting
I thought as I immediately dialed Sehun's number, but just then the door bell rang and I thought it was Sehun.

I turned off the phone and ran to answer the door, expecting it to be Sehun, but there was someone there whom I had least expected, "Thomas? What are you doing here?" I asked the man who use to be my butler, the man handed me a paper, "Your parents wanted me to give you this" he said handing me a file, I took it but gave him a confused look, "And they told me to tell you that the marriage contract was only for six months and the two of you are free after that time period is over and now six months is completed" he said before bidding his goodbye and walking away.

I scratched my head before walking inside the house with the file,
Divorce papers?  I questioned as I opened the paper and checked the papers Ridiculous I mumbled.

I sighed and placed the papers on the desk which was nearby and walked up to change into something more comfortable.

Sehun's POV

He doesn't love me right? He never did right? He was just using me wasn't he? I was just a replacement.. He never loved me did he? And now he wants to end this marriage, why am I even upset? It wasn't real in the first place anyways, I should be happy that we'll both be free and he can come back to the one he loves bitter thoughts crossed my mind as I made my way to the cafe where at least Baekhyun would be there to make me feel better.

Baekhyun immediately walked me to another room the moment he saw me,
"Sehun... Tell me what happened...did it not work out?" he asked me with concern evident in his voice, I shook my head, "Baekhyun... He never loved me" I said as I let tears fall down my face, "Why would you say that Sehun? I'm sure you'd-" cut off "I went back to the house to talk things out and tried to get him to feel better but guess what I found there? Divorce papers! He freaking wanted to divorce me?! Why did I ever feel like he loved me?  I'm making a food out of myself" Sehun said as he sobbed on Baekhyun's  chest who gently patted the younger boy's hair, "There there Sehun... Everything will be fine don't worry... I'm here for you" he said in the most comforting manner but it only made me cry even more.

My eyes were red from crying again, lately I've been crying a lot because of that idiot Chanyeol, I checked my phone and there was three miss called from him and he had finally read my text,

'Is Baekhyun okay? Where are you?'

The text read, I rolled my eyes and shoved the phone on my pocket and turned to Baekhyun, "How's your leg now?" I asked him, "Fit as new" he said giving me a bright smile as always, "I'm sorry for always burying my problems in you, even when you're in pain you're still taking  are of me..." I said feeling guilty, Baekhyun patted my shoulders,
"Sehun.. You know what friends are for?" he asked and I smiled at him,
"Thanks a lot Baekhyun..." I mumbled, he then quickly pulled me into a hug,
"Anything for you" he said.

"Anyways I also have something to tell you" he said, "What is it?" I asked,
"I think I might be slowly falling for Lay" he admitted which was no surprise for me to be honest I've already noticed the tension between them a lot of times.

"Oh congratulations" I mumbled,
"Wait why aren't you even surprised or something" he asked me, "I think the way you acted with his was enough" I said, "gosh was I really?" he asked me and I just nodded my head in reply.

Chanyeol's POV

I had changed into clothes which were more comfortable and walked down to get myself a cup of coffee when someone dramatically slammed the front door open scaring me,

"Hyung!" Chaeyoung called out looking at me, "Don't just barge in like that" I said frowning, "Hyung what did you say to Sehun? Why was he running away crying?" she asked me making me raise my eyebrows,
"What do you mean and where did you see Sehun?" I asked her,
"He just literally was running away crying! Did you have an argument or something?  Sehun is such a sweetheart you can't lose him" she said, then when it hit me,
Did he actually came back and saw the papers? Did he? I questioned myself.

I let out a groan, "Gosh Chaeyoung check on the house would you?" I said and ran out of the house towards my car,

Where could he be? He would not even answer my calls, I decided to check the cage where he and Baekhyun worked, it was a small and uncomfortable place for me as I entered the cafe,

Baekhyun was at the counter and was surprised to see me, I walked towards him and before I could say anything he pointed at a door, "Sehun is there" he said, I turned around to walk towards the room when Baekhyun suddenly grabbed my arm, "Hurt him and you're dead" he threatened, I ignored him and just walked straight into the room to see a distressed Sehun sitting on a worn out couch.

"Hey..." I mumbled making him turn towards me, "What?" he asked me coldly, I inhaled slowly, "Sehun...we need to talk" I said.
