Tony's POV
Three weeks later
It had been a few weeks since Curly and our mate disappeared and everyone was a mess. No one got a wink of sleep, we all stayed up trying to figure out how to get them both back. Today was no different. We were joined by the mutant people in the conference room. Cap began talking, when the alarm began blaring and suddenly, stopped.
A video popped up on the screen, replacing the information we had gathered. On our screen, was live feed of Curly and Maya strapped to chairs, surrounded by people wearing masks, crying and trying to say something but their words were being muffled by the gags over their mouths. "Good day heroes. You seem to have contaminated our best operatives with your goodness. They were so obedient at first and then, they began thinking of you idiots. I want you to watch as we torture your oh so precious mates and when we are done, we'll send them to you in boxes," a man spoke, walking over to them. He stroked Curly's face and we hear Logan growl lowly.
We watched as he began. He tortured them in ways I cannot even describe. It was horrible and they had passed out after and hour. We all couldn't move, we were frozen. We were all petrified and disgusted. When they passed out, we all seemed to snap out of the trance. But he didn't stop.
"How about this," he began, "They are going to die of blood loss or something else. I am going to send them like this to you. If you manage to save them, you can keep them. If not, well, we all know what happens then." The video cut off and Bruce and I ran to the med room to get it ready.
After half an hour the elevator opened and in it were two large boxes, wet and red. We rushed to them, opened them and carried the girls to med bay. Helen Cho was called in and arrived after five minutes. Stitches after stitches, cracks, blood and more for hours upon hours. When we were done, the medical room was a mess. Bandages on the floor, blood bags thrown after blood transfusions, needles discarded, blood on the floor and pieces of their clothes thrown on the floor.
Maya had cracked ribs, dislocated knee and shoulder, cuts running down her entire shin, broken wrists, a bruised jaw and short shallow cuts all over her back. Curly was way worse and I don't know how we kept her alive in her condition. Broken ribs, dislocated shoulder and knees, long, deep cuts along her back, nails picked off, broken hands, a huge stab wound in her side, a punctured lung and small, shallow cuts on her chest. She even needed a blood transfusion and that took about three blood bags. She kept waking up so we had to keep knocking her out with anesthesia.
They were both covered in bandages and had at least two casts on. Christa needed an oxygen mask to breath properly. I felt sorry for them at this point. It was our fault. If they hadn't ever met us then- "Tony it's not our fault," I heard Natasha tell me.
"Yes. It is," I said aggressively pulling off the scrubs and mask. I wasn't a doctor so I did the bare minimal. stitched them up and bandaged what I could. "You didn't see what they went through Nat. You didn't see the bruises, or the cuts or even the fucking broken bones. Jesus Christa had a punctured lung Natasha, if it wasn't for us she would not have been for us. But if it wasn't for us they wouldn't be in this state, " I said storming off, leaving them to their thoughts.
Natasha's POV
When Tony said that, my heart shattered. Were we really the cause of this. I saw Bruce walk out, trying to control the hulk. He was furious and we rarely ever see Bruce this furious. It mad me wonder how bad it really was.
Steve's POV
When Tony walked out, I was just walking in. I looked through the glass and saw it. My mate laid down on her back, bandages covering most of her body and casts on her. I heard what Tony said before he stormed off. He was wrong. This wasn't our fault, it was HYDRA's and they had hell to pay.
Thor's POV
The group of HYDRA had hurt my queen and her sister and they shall pay. I stared through the clear object in between the walls at the two ladies who were asleep. Lady Maya and Lady Christa. They were both beautiful mortals and I was lucky to have Lady Gabriel as my mate even if I hade to share her. I would take revenge on the evil HYDRA.
Bruce's POV
I walked out of the room absolutely mortified and furious. The Hulk wanted to come out and go and destroy HYDRA. I agreed with him but our mate needed us. We had to be there for her. When she properly heals we will focus on HYDRA but for now, we have to take care of her.
Clint's POV
As soon as I saw their bodies, I ran off and went to shield for a while. When I came back, it was about 9:00p.m. It had been 12 hours since I left. When I came back Tony had just stormed off. I was confused until I looked through the glass and saw the bandages and stuff on them.
I was even more furious. I stormed of once again and sat on the letter A in front of the tower.
DOGZZ THIS WAS SOOOOO PAINFUL TO WRITE. Istg I almost started throwing up and crying. Anywho, next chapter coming soon. How long do you think i should leave them in a coma.
