Chapter Fifteen

"Different how?" I asked walking to stand face to face with him.

"Well, she - you know what, you'll see what I'm talking about when you see her," he said looking at me with sympathy before walking away.

I nodded and began to walk towards the rest of my mates. "Here Maya, I took the time to design a suit for you while you were out," Peter said with a light blush on his face as I nodded. I shook my head at his blush, while he just stared at the ground. "Thanks, Pete, but I have my own. I love the suit so I will keep it," I said taking the suit and teleporting it to Nat's room. My personal suit was slightly revealing and was only used when I was needed immediately and could not put on my tailored suit. 

We all rushed to the quinjet and we were debriefed on the situation by Tony while Nat, Clint, and Steve were at the front of the jet. "Curly was spotted in the small island of Tobago a few minutes ago meeting with and speaking to some young children and elderly citizens. On a worse note, she was also spotted murdering a few twenty-one to twenty-five-year-olds. They were all previous classmates of Gabby and Curly. Sorry, Gabs seems your sister is going after some old bullies of yours do we'll need you to tell us who else bullied you other than those who are on the list you are currently reading,"  Tony said, but I was focusing on the fact that all my bullies were already dead except one. That could only mean she was going after "THE WITCH" as we called her 

I got up without a word and focused on teleporting us to the house. "Maya, what are you doing," Loki asked as the Quinjet began to shake. I shook my head at them, motioning that it was alright. After ten seconds we appeared in the trees near her house. "If there is one person Tia wants to kill, it's is Kaley Dutch," I said walking towards the opening door, "that witch was the bully of all bullies and picked on the both of us. I understand why she left her for last. Y'know, Drive her insane with the fear that she's next and then, bam, kill her." They nodded and we walked out to the house.

I heard a faint scream and took off running towards the house with them hot on my heels. I stopped suddenly and put my finger to my lips, motioning for them to be quiet. Walking towards an open window, I saw Tia torturing Kayley, while Kayley sat tied to a chair screaming and crying. "This is for your own good darling. How many kids have you driven to suicide? How many kids have you hurt and abused? How many fucking kids Kayley. HUH!? QUEEN FUCKING KAYLEY! YOU'RE ALL ALONE NOW RIGHT?? WHO IS GOING TO SAVE YOU NOW?? GOD THIS IS YOUR OWN FUCKING FAULT! YOU KNOW WHAT STARTED THIS SHIT?! HUH?! THE FACT THAT THE MAN I THOUGHT WAS MY FUCKING MATE CONTROLLED MY EMOTIONS TO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE THAT! ISN'T THAT FUCKED UP KAYLEY?!" She asked the now dead body of Kayley. I felt nothing but sadness hearing this. "FUUUUCK!!!!" She yelled tears running down her face.

I turned to them and whispered, "Let me deal with this ok?" They looked at me worriedly before nodding. I climbed through the window and Tia turned to face me and put her glowing hands us in a defensive position. "This is what you wanted huh? You always wanted to leave me all alone. Well look at me now Maya, I am alone. A-L-O-N-E. Why are you here?" She asked dropping her hands to her side," Aren't you supposed to be enjoying your time with your mates?" 

"I am but someone decided to interrupt it," I said playfully trying to keep her guard down, "What happened to you, C. You look like a whole mess."

"Life happened. I lost my sister and the rest of my mates. Yonah turned out to be a liar. I found him in bed with some blonde bitch. I killed her though. And we can't forget the most important thing, my soul sister broke our bond," She said looking at me with tears in her eyes, " How am I supposed to deal with that May. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH ANY OF THIS SHIT?" 

She fell to the floor crying and my heart broke seeing her like this. "I just have one question, C. Why kill all those people?" I asked watching her face contort into anger.

"You really care about all those people after the fucking hell they put us through?" She said with a little chuckle, "You always did have the world's biggest heart. I also have a question. H-How did it feel breaking our bond?"

I was caught off guard by her question but answered nonetheless. "It hurt like hell, C. I felt like a part of my soul went missing. It felt like the air had been sucked out of my lungs," I said lowering my head. 

"Then why do it, because of them? Why did you feel the need to break our sacred bond. Why Maya?" She asked but I stood there speechless, "ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION MAYA. WHY?"

"BECAUSE I LOST YOU. BECAUSE YOU CHOSE FUCKING YONAH AND HYDRA OVER OUR FRIENDSHIP AND SISTERHOOD. BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO FEEL YOU EMOTION OF HATE WHEN YOU REALIZED I SIDED WITH THE ENEMY. I DIDN'T WANT TO FEEL THST FUCKING HATE THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TOWARDS ME WHEN YOU WOKE UP AND SAW ME ENJOYING MYSELF WITH MY MATES WHILE WE LOCKED YOU UP AND KEPT YOU AWAY FROM YOURS. AND GODDAMN AM I SORRY FOR IT BUT I WOULDN'T CHANGE THE DECISION FOR ANYTHING BECAUSE WITHOUT THAT DECISION," I paused and calmed down, "Without that decision, you wouldn't have known that he was fooling you. You wouldn't have let that all out, C. You would have stayed with me unhappily for my happiness thinking that Yonah was one of your soulmates and that he loved you. Christ, I would not change that decision for anything in the world because even though it pushed us apart it also brought us closer than ever. We have nothing to stop us from being happy, C. You can come with me and be happy with your actual mates. Just come with me."

I put my hands out to her and she looked up at me wearily. "What did I do to deserve such a wonderful sister," she said making us both laugh calming down the waterfalls coming from our eyes, "But Maya, what if they don't want me? What if they can't forgive me?"

I looked at her sadly and went to speak, but a voice beat me to it. "Then we would be fucking idiots," Wade said as they all walking into the kitchen through the door. She turned back to face them so quickly I think she might have whiplash. They walked forward to her, but she just scooted back to me, fear clear in her eyes. She got up and hid behind me.

I shook my head at her and pushed her towards them. "Ummm, Hi," She said looking down with a dark blush on her face. They all shook their heads at her state and Logan scooped her into his arms making her look like a whole tomato. "You are a bloody mess, baby girl. Let's get you cleaned up ok?" He said and she nodded as she nuzzled her face into his neck. 

This was the girl I knew before all of the HYDRA shit. A shy, Loving, Kind girl, but with a bit of a bloodlust problem now I guess. It was nice to see her look so carefree and calm in her mate's arms. I walked up to them and she leaped on me with one big hug and whispered in my ear, "I love you, M. Never forget that." I hugged her back and whispered an 'I love you too' back to her before handing her back over to her mate.

We all walked back to our respective jets and flew off to the Tower.

It took me a while to write this and I am sorry. Also, there are only five more chapters left until the end of "LIFE GOES ON". I hope you all have a good day/night wherever you are.
