Chapter Ten

I wanna cry at what I am about to post.

Chista POV

I felt it snap. I felt the bond break. Yet, I could not open my eyes. My eyes were screwed shut but I could hear everything and feel everything. I felt them moving me.

I did not care. How could she break our bond like that. I heard her begin to tell them the plan we came up with. How could she? 

She betrayed Yonah. She betrayed HYDRA. But most of all, She betrayed me. I knew they were carrying me to a cell. I just knew it.

As my body was put down my eyes fluttered open. It was dark. It only had a mattress in the corner but I knew I was not going to sleep on it. I don't want to touch anything THEY give me.

It's all THEIR fault. THEY were going to pay. I sat there contemplating things. I don't know how long I sat there for but I knew it was at least a few hours. 

I heard someone enter the room and then heard a chair scrape the floors. I was sat in a corner in what I thought was the back of the cell. Then I heard his oh so righteous voice speak. Steve Rogers aka Captain America began speaking to me trying to appeal to my humanity. "I know that they drilled the thought that you have to do this into your head, but-"

"Before you try to tell me anything about changing my mind please think about the fact that my mate is the leader of HYDRA," I said, anger coursing my veins. I don't know what possessed me to do what I did next but all I knew was that I liked it. 

"Chist-" I was engulfed in flames, cutting him off. Vines sprouted from the concrete floor and wrapped around Cap. I smirked as he began struggling and alarms went off. "Christa stop it now," I heard HER speak into the systems. I phased straight through the walls and walked down the halls, sending massive waves of pain throughout the building.

I enjoyed hearing their pained screams echoing. My smirk turned into a grin when I saw my reflection. My eyes turned fully black, my black hair grew longer touching below my butt, black wings stretched out from my back and sharp white teeth. The Avengers walked behind me quietly thinking I would not notice them. 

I just smiled and continued to send out waves of pain. I turned to them and winked before teleporting to the base. "Yohan! We have a traitor on our hands," I told him as I kissed him on the cheek. 

My brain was fine. They just made me realize that HYDRA was the place for me. In my mates arms trying to save this wretched world. "Tell me all about it, Love," he said kissing my forehead.
