Dökkálfar's Trickery

"Mirablis! Where were you? I checked the flower bed but you disappeared!" Peony worriedly replied.

"I... I was in hiding by the Mylzöfr Forest!" Mirablis stuttered, suspiciously being energetic. "Where were you?"

"I was with Tullis while looking for Kyubyn! Come on, let's go fight these dökkálfars!" Peony dragged Mirablis by the sleeve where a gigantic pile of dökkálfars met them.

"Here we are, at Ljósálfeimr. These ljósálfars are just screaming 'Give me the nightmares! We're begging you!'" Triandra scoffed. readying her magic lamp. "Well, they can stop begging like a brat. I've got what they wished!"

Triandra blew from the lamp, the light that had illuminated the vine tunnel now spiralling across Luma Town.

"Triandra! Stop spreading the nightmares! We can talk this out!" Peony yelled, a hint of pride spearing her. "I need answers..."

"Lady Freyja has ordered this from us," Triandra crooned. "You're just a ljósálfar in our way," She'd lift her lamp and darkness surrounded it, and in a split second, the sky faded to a dark purple.

"Stop this!" Peony demanded, choking back sobs. "Why can't you just stay at Dökkálfeimr? Why do you have to be here?"

At this point the tears had overwhelmed her and her wings wilted. She succumbed to the field to cry.

Triandra chuckled. "Now, Plumeria." she cues.

Peony gasped. "P-Plumeria? But I d-don't—" she began, but was suddenly wrapped in neon lime vines. Peony struggled to tear the vines, but they were too strong for her. Peony looked down, recognized the color scheme of the vines, and turned around.

"Mirablis? Let me go! This isn't funny!" Peony growled as the dökkálfar made sure no ljósálfar had stayed during their conquer. "Mirablis? Did you... betray..?"

"Betray? No, no..." Mirablis chuckled, morphing into Plumeria. "I was merely disguising as Mirablis." She wrapped another vine around her neck. "You sure are gullible..." she muttered, lifting the vine around Peony up.

"Wh-where did you take Mirablis? What did you do to her?" Peony demanded.

"Ah, she's still asleep." Triandra replied, smiling. Then her smile curved into a frown. "For now."

Peony sighed. Maybe Tullis was right...
