"Mommy! Look! The teacher gave me 5 stars today!" Seven-year old nathalie said as she made her way towards her mother. Her mother just looked at her. No emotions was seen on her face. Her mother dissed Nathalie because
of a reason. But Nathalie kept smiling at her mother. Her dad noticed the actions of his wife. He immediately went towards Nathalie.
"Wow! Nathalie !" His dad said as he picked Nathalie up. He looked at his wife, and his wife just glared at him.
"Mommy! I just got 3 stars!" tiny voice coming from a girl named, Laurene. Her mother looked at her with those eyes, those eyes that she never shown to Nathalie before.
"I want 5 stars like Nathalie!" The girl beside laurene, named laurane stomped her feet.
"You want 5 stars? Mommy will give it to you two. Mommy knows you two deserve 5 stars" She said.
"But Dad why would the wolf want to ruin the house that pig's house"Nathalie asked with those innocent eyes. His father just laughed at her.
"Because the wolf is bad. After doing bad things, He goes out for hunting for his 'food' -" He paused.
"And that food is the three pigs" He said while making scary gestures. Nathalie widened her eyes and immediately hid under her blanket. His father laughed at her sudden action.
"Daddy-" Nathalie said. as she came out from the blanket
"Don't be scared. If you don't want to get eaten by the big bad wolf. You should be a good girl and stay away from bad things" His daddy said as he kissed his daughter's forehead.
"Yes Daddy! From now on ! I will do good things! " She said as she smiled.
"That's it! Be a good girl,okay?" He said. She nodded.
"Goodnight daddy" She said.
"Goodnight Nathalie" He said.
While everyone was asleep. Nathalie"s mother went to the bedroom of nathalie. She saw nathalie sleeping face,.
"So innocent, easily deprive by the others" She whispered. She went towards nathalie's desk and grabbed something.
"Poor little thing, getting abandoned by your own parent. You will always be left alone in this cruel world. Hope you to survive this or not" She said as she left.
The next morning.
"Daddy!!" Someone shouted. His father immediately went towards to nathalie's room. Thinking that something happened to his daughter.
Somehow, the negative thoughts just vanished when He saw nathalie there sitting there and just crying. Wait, She's crying?. Her Dad immediately went towards her.
"Sweetie, why are you crying?" He asked as he hugged her.
"D-Daddy, T-the S-stars. " She stuttered.
"T-they're. M-missing" Nathalie said as she cried.
"Don"t worry,Nathalie" He said as he comforts Nathalie.
"Mommy!!Look!" Laurene shouted.
"We have 5 stars mommy!" Laurane said as she shown the stars to her mommy.
Nathalie immediately gazed at them. Yesterday they've just 3 stars and now 5 stars. Weird.
Nathalie immediately went to them and snatched the stars to them.
The twins are shocked at the outburst of Nathalie. Her mother glared at Nathalie.
"Mommy!!" The twins went towards their mother. She went towards to nathalie and suddenly a loud sound of slap was heard all over the room. His husband went towards Nathalie.
"I know you dissed Nathalie. But atleast respect the child"He glared at his wife. He left the house with Nathalie on his arms.
"Dad where are you going? " She asked. "Well,Honey. Dad will fetch you after my work. You will stay here playing with other kids"He said as he patted her head.
"Be a good girl,Nathalie" He said as he left.
She looked around. She saw a group of kids playing together. She went towards them.
"Stop! Don't go near us you filthy kid!" One of them shouted.
"I just want to play" She whispered.
"Play eh?" Someone said. She looked around. But to find out that no one is there.
"Silly. Look up. "
She looked up,to find out that a boy was sitting on the branch of the tree. Well,what a one strong branch you've got there eh.
"What are you doing there?" She asked.
"Sitting" He said lazily.She pouted. He looked at her for a second.
"Want to play?" He asked as he jumped and landed safely.
"Wow"She said as she clapped.
"Weird girl. Let's play" He said. Nathalie looked at him and a smile appeared on her face.
Apparently, The other kids find out creepy. It freaks them out when They saw Nathalie playing,running and talking when no one was there with her.
"What a weird girl" They've said as they ran.
"What"s your name ?" He asked.
" Nathalie. Nathalie Park" She said as she smiled at him.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Jacob" He said.
Jacob looked at Nathalie. He closed his eyes. And...
"It's time" Jacob said.
"What time?"
"Nathalie!! " The owner of the kid playing center shouted.
"Mrs. Jones. " Nathalie said.
"I've been looking for you." Mrs.Jones said.
"I'm sorry ,Mrs. Jones. I'm just playing with my f-" Nathalie looked besides her to find out that Jacob has already left.
"Nathalie. I've got something to say to you" She said.
"Your Dad..." Mrs.Jones said. Nathalie smiled at Mrs.Jones.
Mrs. Jones was softened at the sight Nathalie's smile. She sighed. She hates to do this but She has no choice.
"Is dead" Mrs.Jones said. The smile on her face vanished.
