After my father's funeral, My mom decided to put me in a orphanage. Luckily, Mrs.Jones decided to adopt me.
Real name was Nathalie Park and change into Nathalie Kate Jones, Since Mrs. Jones adopted me.21 years old.Living alone in a apartment.Well Mrs.Jones is at England managing her business there. Back to reality, I'm here at the cemetery visiting him again.
It's been 14 years since that incident.
"Dad I'll always be a good girl" I said as I put flowers beside his grave. I wiped off my tears.
"Bye dad" I said as I left the cemetery.
Hmmm. What time is it now ?. I looked at my watch.
"8:30" I whispered. Wait. 8:30. It's freaking 8:30?!. Oh shoot. I'm late. Freaking late. Oh.My.G. I hope that I can still make it.
At the company.
"Nathalie! You're late! I don't know what charm you've had but our boss is not yet here" My friend, Shai said as she slapped my arm.Well Shai is my friend since college.
"Well, Maybe Luck was trying to be befriended with me" I winked at her. She just rolled her eyes.
"Well Did you heard the rumor?" Shai said.
"What rumor?" I asked. She looked at me with her famous unbelievable look.
"Oh yeah that hmmm.. What is it?" I said. Shai sighed.
"Unbelievable!" Shai said.
" You know me ,girl. I don't like to hear gossip, rumor or whatsoever" I sighed.
"Well honey, You can't escape the gossip. I heard that Jessica is making out with Mr. Shawn " She said in a disgust tone.
"Making out ?" I asked.Shai nodded.Well,Jessica is the secretary of Mr.Shawn.
"And the worst part Someone saw them that they are making out in the office of Mr.Shawn" Shai said
"He's married and got a wife and kids and why the heck Mr.Shawn fucked her"I said.
"Or maybe Jessica seduced him" Shai said.
"I knew from the start that she's a s-" I was cutted off when Shai put her hand on my mouth. Shai shot me the 'look'. I saw Jessica coming to us.
"Ms. Nathalie, These are the papers that Mr.Shawn wants to give to Mr. Mike" She said as she handled me the papers.
"Oh thank you" I said. Jessica eyed us. I smiled at her.
"Is there something wrong,Miss jessica?" I asked. Jessica shook her head and left without saying any word.
"That was close" Shai said. I just looked at her.
"What?" She said. I rolled my eyes.
"I thought that you have a meeting to attend " I said. Shai gasped.
"Yeah right! Bye! See you later cupcake!" She said as she dashed to the meeting room.
I smiled. Well,It's time for me to work.
"Weirl!" Annoying voice greeted me. I rolled my eyes.
"What now?" I said in annoyance.
"Weirl! You know what I love you! And you! I love you" Matthew said as he hugged me.
"What's wrong with you,You idiot?!" I frowned at his sudden action.
Well , Me and Matthew aren't that friendly to each other. To tell you the truth, Matthew is quite a catch. But He call me weirl everytime I'm always in his sight. Weirl short for Weird Girl. I don't know where did he get that? -.-
Back to reality, Matthew is still hugging.
"I'm sorry, Nathalie. He's been eating sugar all night that's why he's so hyper today" Drake said as he grabbed matthew.
"What is he? A kid.." I whisper.
Fast Forward...
I'm so tired. Shai texted me earlier that I'll go ahead. Hmmm... I felt my cellphone buzzed. Huh? A message from unknown number.
Unknown:
Meet me tomorrow at the cafe LC ,9:00
Weird. I heard my stomach growling. Oops. I'm hungry. Better to buy food to eat. Man, I'm really hungry.

The sound of music slowly brought out from my deep sleep. It was a soft relaxing music, but loud enough to wake me up. I stretched my arm and snooze my phone.
It's Saturday. I don't know why would I wake up such in an early time. It's because of the music earlier or it because of that message.
Meet me at the cafe LC ,9:00
I've decided to go there. I wore skinny jeans and a simple t-shirt with matching shoes and bag. I don't know why, But why do I feel bad thing will come today.
At the cafe.
Well I'm a bit early. I ordered coffee and a slice of cake.
"Are you Nathalie?" I looked up to see a middle-aged guy standing infront of me.
"Ah yes I am" I said. The guy took a seat infront of me.
"Well I assumed that you don't know the reason why I texted you yesterday" He said. Man you're one weird old bald man.
Of course , I don't know.Maybe you DO know why you made me meet you.
"Right" I said while trying to steady my pace.
"Well I came here to give you this" He said as he took out something from his bag. A book. Wait, why does that book reminds me of something?
"This was your father's diary " He said. He gave it to me. He knew my father.Wait how?
" I believed that you will read this and hoping you will Find your answer " He said. I looked at him.
"Will you excuse me I've got something to do" He said as he left.
I looked at the diary on the table. This diary was from my Father. I didn't asked his name. Who's that guy by the way.
"Well I think that I'm going to read this tonight" I sighed as I looked at the diary infront of me.
