Chapter 5

Nathalie's POV

Well, I woke up early than usual. It's freaking Monday meaning it's better not to be late than being fired. -.-

I looked at the clock. Well I've still have time. I looked at the diary.

"Hmmm..." I said as I grabbed the Diary. I notice there's a rip off. I grabbed it and put it inside my pocket. I watched the news for a while.
"Who ever win that. Man they are lucky. But I want to win that" I pouted.

*Knock.*Knock

Who's that, its too early for visitor.
I opened the door to find an old man wearing a suit. Wait, I've seen this guy. It's the reporter! with him is a cameraman.

"Well here's the winner !" The old man said.
"Winner?" I said.
"You've won a ticket for trip around the world" He said.
"But I didn't enter a contest" I frowned.The old man insisted to give me the tickets and left without saying a word.

"How weird.But still,I've won a ticket around the world." I said. Yeah. I've made a list for my dreams and one is to have a ticket trip around the world. Sweet!

Oh shoots. Better to keep going.

*Crack*

Ouch. I look at my heels. O.M.G. My heels broke. My heels! Well this is my favorite heels. T_T

"Are you okay,Miss?" Someone asked. I looked up. Well hello there. I'm okay I just have a stupid heels down there -.-

"Not really" I said. The man noticed my heels broke. The man kneeled down. He get something from the box. Wait,
"isn't that heels from the famous company,blanc?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. He grabbed my old heels and put on new heels on both of my feet.

"I don't really have money to pay you back" I said.
Blanc sandals costs more than what I imagine. I promised myself to buy a blanc sandals when I've got enough money to buy it.
"That's yours now." He said.
"Really?" I asked, wanting to be sure. He nodded.
"Thank you" I bowed at him. He laughed.
"I'm glad that I've helped you" He said as he left. He's so cool!

At the company..

When I got at the office. Everyone looks glooming. What did I missed? Shai came to me. Girl, she looks sad.

" What? I asked. Shai just looked down. Suddenly...

"Congratulations!" They shouted. Huh?
"Remember the report that you presented at the other company" Shai said.
"They want to invest such a big percent and that made our boss to promote you " Shai said. I smiled. I hugged shai. But suddenly my eyes scanned the office wanting to see someone. But to find out that he's not here. Drake noticed it.

"He's not here.He's at New york,settling things there." Drake said as he patted my shoulders. He's at New York?
"But he will come back just for you" Drake whispered.
"Huh?"I asked.
"Nothing" He said as he left the office.

Fast Forward...
"That was Fun!" I said. Shai smiled at me.
"It's time for me to get going " Shai said as she kissed my cheek.
"Bye!" Shai waved at me as she left.

"Oh I forgot to buy some can of soda" I said as I went towards the market to buy some sodas. I gave the exact money to the cashier. I noticed there's a paper that fell out of my pocket. I picked it up and grabbed the sodas I bought.

I read the paper as I head towards my apartment. Tears started to formed.

"Ouch!" I screamed. I looked at my ankle, there is a bruised. I stand and grabbed the sodas. Suddenly I heard an explosion. Its looks like it came from my apartment. I immediately went towards the building to find out the explosion came from my apartment.

"What are you doing here?!" Someone shouted behind me.
