Chapter 10

Adeline glared at the new entry in the cabin.

His slicked back hair , leather jacket , skinny jeans and that irritating smirk , everything made her furious , simply furious.

" Hello Sirius " , Andromeda skipped her way to her cousin , " what brings you here ? "

" Your lovely smile , what else ? " , his smirk never left his face , and his eyes were still focused on the other brunette.

And Andromeda noticed that.

" Well Ady , meet my cousin , Sirius Black " , she chirped , " and Sirius meet Adeline Malfoy " .

They both glared at each other , Adeline with pure hatred , and Sirius with a confused emotion.

Adeline muttered something , which fleetingly sounded like , prat.

" I heard that Malfoy " , Sirius gasped dramatically , sitting in front of the glaring girl.

" Congrats , your ears are good " , Adeline snarked , crossing her arms in front.

" Oh are they , then I just heard you say , I love you Sirius right now " , he bit back , casually waving his hair out of his face.

Adeline just glared at him , and if looks could kill , he would be six feet under now .

" Well " , Andromeda cleared her throat awkwardly , " I will get some sweets " , with this she left the cabin , leaving the two glaring at each other.

" So , did you miss me Malfoy ? " , he smirked , leaning in front , " my beauty and... " , his words were cut by a loud chuckle from Adeline.

" I won't miss you if you get locked up in Azkaban, Black " , she death panned , crossing one leg over another.

" Nah , I am not going there " , he shrugged leaning in front , " it doesn't matches my vibe " .

" Yeah, unicorn vibes after all " , she spat , her face smug.

" So what's wrong in a unicorn vibe ? Personally , I love those golden head horned horses " , he said shrugging.

Andrea stared at him exasperated , after all the insults , he was still talking to her rather angering her. So only three words flashed in her head , in bright neon colours.

WHAT . AN . IDIOT.

" You know what , I would like drowning than talking to you " , she said finally , opening her book to read.

" Well we - " , his words were cut off by a loud bang.

There stood Thomas Avery, in all his smugness at the door of the compartment , visibly fuming on seeing someone else with his future wife.

" Black " , he spat the name , glaring at the now smirking black haired boy.

" If this isn't my lovely lil Avery " , Sirius said in a sing song voice , getting up ,"well guess what Avery , try a little more and your horns would poke out " , he said chuckling as Thomas looked like he would crack up .

Adeline chuckled softly at this , she loved when someone would pick on Avery , though she knew that would get her in trouble later.

" Out of the compartment Black " , Avery said through his teeth , his knuckles already white.

"Well Miss Malfoy here is very pretty to leave , though I will go , James is probably missing my lovely presence", he said as he exited the compartment but not before blowing a kiss at Adeline.

Thomas's glare now turned to Adeline ,
" What the actual fuck was that ? " , he seethed , sitting in front of her .

"I don't know " , Adeline sighed , their first meeting and the fuck boy had already messed her life up.
