Ryan's POV

My team made it to the explosion site. Kane's team isn't here, but I know that he's on his way. I see that the explosion hit the Mayor's office.

"What the hell?" Asks Kane, from behind us.
"It looks like The Pirates are coming for our city." I tell him.
"It was a matter of time." He says. "I was just hoping that I was able to deal with LA first."
"They already have Hammond, LA and Lansing." I say. "They might already have a large army."
"But as far as I've gathered, they might also have Superhumans and Supernaturals." Says Vampiress.
"I don't understand why they would attack Calumet City if we have a team of Supernaturals here." Says Jess.
"Yeah. Why not wait till they have enough people to stand a chance against us?" Asks Screamer.
"Because The Grey is nearly the strongest person in this world." I say. "If they take him down, then the other states are home free."
"I don't think that they know what we've been up to." Says Power Man. "We still have an edge over them."
"Blake came to y'all too, huh?" I ask.
"Yeah." Says Kane. "I don't think that he thought that this was going to happen."
"Jet, Red Archer." I say. "Look for clues."
"Screamer. Shadow. Red Witch. Go with them." Says Kane. "I want my fliers in the air. The rest of my team stays on the ground. Look for whoever could've caused this. Search a few blocks each way."

They nod and leave. I turn to Kane.

"What?" He asks.
"I forgot the respect that you command" I say.
"Maybe, but so do you." He says. "I know that Leah came back."
"Yeah." I say. "I learned that Malik and Masters are gone."
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"Alex disappeared and Jose is with the Pirates." I say.
"Shit." Says Kane.
"Yeah." I say.
"Archer! Grey!" We hear. It's Shadow. We jog to his team.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Look at this." Says Jamar, holding a piece of technology.
"How is it here?" Kane asks. "This entire building was blown up."
"I don't know, but we need to analyze the piece." I say.
"We don't have the proper equipment." Says Jamar.
"We can analyze it in Watsland." Says Kane.
"You still go there?" I ask, shocked.
"Oh yeah." Kane says. "My team has been training there, recently. With the chance of Supernaturals and Superhumans on their side, we never know what we're in for."
"That's a good call." I say. "I still want to find my old base, though."
"I'll go with you." Says Jess.
"Same." Says Kane. "Shadow, Screamer, Jet, and Mystic Girl can head to Watsland with Elastic to analyze the piece of technology that we got. Contact me and tell me what you find."
"Don't forget about the God." Says Power Man.
"Shit." Says Kane. "Then Archer can take, Ice Fighter, and Inviso-Boy."
"We can have Red Archer, Vampiress, Storm, and Angel remain here to search for more clues."
"The rest of us are heading back to the party." Says Kane. "We have a God to watch."
"If you guys find something, let us know when you find something. Or if." I say.

They nod and we all separate.

Kane's POV
5 minutes later

We've just gotten back to the party. I can feel Sarah's emotions right now. During the trip back here, we learned that we're paternal soulmates, which I found cool. Anyway, I feel a random sadness and knows that it's hers. Then I sense someone shocking. I look up and see him. I walk to him and see the recognition on his face.

"So you recognize me." I say.
"Yes, YouTube star and Superhero." He whispered the last part. "Now, is LN here."
"Her real name is Sarah." I say. "And she's over in the house."
"Well, that won't do." He says.
"You like her, don't you?" I ask.
"No!" He says. I give him a look. "Okay, yes."
"I thought that." I say. "I can sense energy and she and I low-key share powers. I can sense and see the lie."
"How do I get her?" He asks.
"She's sensitive and easy to get. Music is our kryptonite." I say.
"Like.. singing?" He asks.
"Yeah." I say. "Now, I'm giving you two choices: sing with the rest of us, me and a few of our friends are planning on singing, or go up on your own."
"Well, I'm not good with emotions, so you lead this." He says.
"Good." I say. I pull him up to the front row in front of the stage, and head to Victoria. "Hey."
"Oh hey." She says.
"Sarah's upset." I say.
"Say less. Let's go." She says. We head to Ben. "Sarah's upset."
"How are we going to do it without Dashawn?" He asks, as we literally drag him to the stage.
"You'll see." I say, smiling.

Once we get to the stage, I head to the mic.

"Okay. I love how we are having fun, but I have a very close friend who needs this song. Can someone get Miss Sarah Kaczmarczyk, please?" I say. I hear shuffling and murmurs as everyone stops what they are doing to find her.

Sarah's POV
2 minutes ago

We all have changed out of our costumes and got to the house. I head into the house. I'm feeling sad and lonely. I feel like a burden as Kane didn't ask for me to do anything important.

"Sarah!" Says Riya. I immediately turn to her. "Get out here!"

I jump out of the chair that I literally just sat down in, running outside. But, when I get outside, everyone is trying to usher me up to the stage.

"Come on, Sar." Says Kane, smiling.

I obey and Kane hugs me, along with Victoria and Ben, when I get up there.

"What's happening?" I asks, as music plays.
