Chapter 16: Movies

(Your POV)
"I'm sorry Adrien.."

He nods at me and wipe his tears away, why do I have to be so foolish? Why? I don't wanna break anyone's heart.. but then.. I already did..

We hear his driver honk at him from his limo and and the driver signals Adrien to come and go home already. Adrien looks at the driver then at me, I wave goodbye with a smile as he just ignores me and walk away..

I feel bad for him.. and for me.. Then all of a sudden, I feel my cheek touch a smooth and small skin, I look over to the side and see Hamza hugging my cheek.

"What are you doing?" I ask.
"I know you need one, right now." He responds and hugs me tighter
"Wait, how did you know?"
"I can read my owners mind you know."

We both smile at each other, then Hamza quickly hides in my pocket due to Lawrence walking out from school. We're probably gonna go to the movies now..

"Hello beautiful." He says.
"Well hello mister." I say as I chuckle.
"Are you ready?"
"Of course!"
"Well, the movie starts at 4 PM, wanna go grab some ice cream?"
"Sure!"

We go and walk to an ice cream shop, sad that it's not Andre's Ice cream.. but there's nothing to be sad about when I'm with Lawrence, right? We walk to the counter and order our flavors of choice.

"Hi I'll get the cookies and cream with some chocolate drizzle on top please." I say.
"Good afternoon, you look gorgeous today.." Lawrence says.

I hear the cashier woman, person, I don't know! But I hear her giggle and see her blush, I can't believe it! Lawrence is flirting, in front of ME, ME! Why are we even going to get ice cream when he's just.. a.. player..

"Anyways I'll have the mint chocolate chip. And I'll pay for that, and for my girlfriend's ice cream." He says.

G-girlfriend?

I look at the cashier and she rolls her eyes at me. She goes to prepare out ice cream while we look for a seat. We found a table good for two people and we wait for ice cream.

Then not long, a boy comes up to us.

"Umm.. hi here's are your ice creams!" He cheerfully says.
"Thanks big guy."
"Thank you so much!" Me and Lawrence thanked him.
"Wait.. your.. your Y/N L/N! Oh my gosh! I'm a huge fan! Your so pretty! Me and my friends are wild for you! Will you sign my notebook for me?" He asks in a desperate voice.
"Of course! I would love to!" I respond.

He walks away excited and all. I look over to Lawrence and I see him with a furious look on his face. A sad and angry expression was displayed oh his face.

"What's wrong?" I ask.
"What's wrong? WHATS WRONG? Who was that? Do you know him? Do you like him?" He says furiously.
"What? No! He's just a fan, it's normal for me."
"Yeah yeah, I'm pretty sure a fan calls you PRETTY!?"
"Lawrence, your being overprotective. I promise I love you and only you."

I hope..

I hold his hand and he calms down a bit.

"Okay. How about we head to the movies now?"

I nod and we walk out hand in hand.. "Lawrence, your being overprotective. I promise I love you and only you."

I hope that's true..

(Adrien's POV)
I get in the car crying, why did I get fooled? Why? I don't want my heart broken.. but then.. It already is..

"What are you doing?" I ask.
"I know you need one, right now." He responds and hugs me tighter
"Wait, how did you know?"

We both smile at each other, then Plagg quickly hides in my pocket due to us arriving.

I enter and.. Father's not here?

"Nathalie, where's father?"
"Oh hello and welcome Adrien, your father is in New York."

WHAT?! N-NEW-NEW YORK?! AS IN NEW YORK CITY!

"Wait, why?"
"He's having a business trip."
"With who?"
"With Trevor L/N. Owner of Fine Sunshine company."

Hey, I know him. Is that Y/N's dad?

"Oh ok, I'll just.. uhm... go to my room."

I see Nathalie nod and I head over to my room, this time, I'm not lying. I will head to my room and just, sit there.

I open the door and sit on my bed. I'm wondering what Y/N is doing now. Probably with that ugly exchange student. Wait a minute.. I'm-.. I'm going to try and make her jealous..

No.. no.. I can't.. but I have to..

Then I see Plagg flying in front of me.

"Adrien, don't be soo foolish, you've been fooled, now you can't be the one to BE foolish.."
"Plagg, please?"

Plagg says nothing.

I ignore him and quickly scroll through my contacts, find a girl that's just the perfect person. Aha! Marinette. Perfect...

(Marinette POV)
I was just scrolling through Adrien's Instagram then all of a sudden I Her my phone ring.

"Tikki! Could you see who's calling?"
"Marinette! It's Adrien!"
"WHA—

Then I fall of my chair. I quickly crawl to my bed where my phone is laying on and answer it.

"UH HI-HE-GOOD-AD—HI ADREST I MEAN ARREST I MEAN Hey Adrien!"
"Hey Marinette I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me?"

OH MY GOSH! IT'S TODAY, THE DAY! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT MY ENTIRE LIFE!

"SES! I MEAN YURE! I MEAN SURE AND YES!"
"Great see you there!"
"Wait now?"
"Yeah sure!"

I hung up and get ready..
