None of them had known what had happened, how they had gotten there, why they were there, and so on.

It was week four of being stuck in some twisted killing game with no way out. Well, unless you die or murder successfully, that is. Hinata had woken up in some sort of school with each and every possible exit blockaded. It was simply impossible to leave.

He had woken up there along with Kenma, Bokuto, Kageyama, Akaashi, Kuroo, Lev, Asahi, Tsuishima, Yamaguchi, Sugawara, Daichi, Asahi, Tanaka, Nishinoya, Oikawa, and Iwaizumi. They had a headmaster, that person, or creature, being Monokuma, some robot bear.

When Hinata had first gotten there and his situation fully registered in his mind, he had been in denial. For one, he knew all of these people. He knew them and he doubted they would ever harm one another. They were teammates and friends for god's sake! He had been so painfully wrong when the body discovery alarm went off.

He was with Kenma at the time, the two of them huddled in Kenma's room playing games that they had thankfully been supplied with. Kenma was really stressed so they had stayed back, not choosing to go with the others that day.

Kenma tensed up as the monitor lit up with the announcement. Hinata watched in disbelief. There was no possible way that someone had killed someone, he simply couldn't believe it. Kenma dragged him to his feet and the two of them took off running to where they heard screams.

"O-OH MY GOD, ASAHI?! IS THIS SOME SORT OF SICK FUCKING PRANK BECAUSE IT IS SO UN-FUCKING-FUNNY!" Suga shrieked as he dropped to his knees in front of his fellow third year. Hinata had to look away from the gruesome scene, covering his mouth with his hand while tears streamed down his face.

"Shhh, breathe, shoyo..." Kenma whispered in his ear. Everyone filed in the room and each one of them's eyes widened. Hinata observed each person's reaction as closely as he could, noticing one person was a bit off.

He mumbled to Kenma about his findings, and the two decided to keep it to themselves for the time being. From that point until the time the trial began, Kenma and Hinata searched everywhere for clues that could confirm the killer.

Asahi had been stabbed in the back, quite literally, and the person who did it left quite the mess. Blood was all over, not being bothered to clean up so they assumed the body wasn't moved from where Suga had found it, that being the library. Due to that, it made it a lot easier so they had to find the murder weapon. The two of them looked in every nook and cranny until Hinata found it, that being on the top shelf, hidden between some dusty books.

"Got it, Kenma!" Hinata whisper-yelled.

"Good job, Sho. I found something over here so hop down, I'll catch you."

Kenma held his arms out and Hinata squeezed his eyes shut, free-falling from the top of the bookcase and safely into the duel-haired boy's arms. They looked at one another with flushed cheeks before Kenma snapped out of it, showing him what he found. They crouched in front of the object, finding it to be some sort of anklet charm.

"This wa-wasn't Asahi-sans..." Hinata bit his lip with a frown.

"I can hold into it for now. Let's just keep looking..."

They continued scouring every inch of the room, finding more clues that solidified their proof of the killer. Finally, the trial alarm rang and they made their way to where they were supposed to meet. Hinata bit the inside of his cheeks as he went down, standing far away from the others with Kenma. He really did not trust anybody else.
