A woman sobbed, running to keep up with it as paramedics rolled it away. "What the fuck?" Elisabeth muttered under her breath. If she was high earlier, she certainly was not now. A death in the Outer Banks was not something that occurred often. For all she knew, people in the area lived until they were at least in their nineties, if not, one hundreds.

"What's going on?" JJ asked no one in particular as the teenagers all took a seat on a nearby bench. A girl who was previously sat there smiled, almost as if she was amused by everything going on. "A man washed up on shore. Here check it out." She said, showing the group a rather gruesome photo. "Dead body!"

Elisabeth looked away, trying to keep her breakfast down. She could have went her whole life without seeing a picture of a corpse, however this random girl felt otherwise. "That's disgusting." She muttered.

"Who even is he?" John B asked.

"Scooter Grubbs." The girl replied. "He was apparently out during the storm."

Almost instantly a thought popped up in Elsie's head, and although she wished it wasn't true, deep down inside she knew it was. "What kind of boat did he have?" She asked.

"Somehow the dirtbag copped a brand new grady white. Everyone's out looking out for it."

JJ and Elsie made eye contact, both of them having a solemn look on their faces. Elisabeth didn't personally know Scooter Grubbs, however she did feel some sort of sympathy. If not for him, then surely for his wife who would most definitely mourn his death.
