Theo had his back against the wall. His shoulders slumped and his phone in hand. His window was slightly ajar, and a cool breeze swept his dark hair into his eyes.

A buzz came out of his phone, he felt his hand slightly shake at the vibration. He lifted his phone and gazed at the screen.

Messages:
Holly
Hey hunni xx Come over at 7 and don't be late 😘

Theo read the message and scoffed. He felt like a different person when she talked to him. Like he was nothing, his feelings were non existent. He lifelessly unlocked his phone and typed his reply.

Of course I won't. 7 is good. x

He let himself throw his phone onto his bed. Ashamed of replying so weakly. How she had such a hold on him was beneath his knowledge.

He averted his gaze to his window, watching the trees sway from the wind. He closed his eyes.

Theo wasn't a pushover, or so he thought; but he was generally described as one. He had been in a terrible relationship with his girlfriend, Holly Dafters, for 3 years. A few months after their relationship started, Theo's family noticed he started changing. He started to be alone more, his mood was darker and his conversations were shorter. He spent more time locked away in his room. His Mother, Tina Carmen, was especially worried for her once spirited son but he refused to open up to her... or anyone.

Holly Dafters was a horrible girl. When she first started dating Theo Carmen she seemed normal and nice, but her true colours slowly opened up. She was mean and abusive. When Theo didn't do what she wanted him to do, she would hit herself and tell everyone it was Theo, and this wasn't the worst she did. She would throw herself down stairs, cut herself, bite herself, and blame it on Theo. She even goes as far as to give herself black eyes. Theo can't stand her. She drained the personality from him, but he can't get away.

Theo pulled up to Hollys house. He knocked on the front door with a scowl on his face. It suddenly flew open. A girl who would generally be described as beautiful was standing there. Her golden hair fell down to her hips and her smile widened, revealing her pearl white teeth. She looked perfect.

"Hey my Theo Bear!" She squealed. It was hard to imagine she was 17. Theo mustered a small smile and stepped inside.

Her house was rather large, of course her father was rich. Holly grabbed Theo's hand and took him to her living room.

They both walked over to the couch and sat down. Theo managed to keep his smile on his face, but he wasn't sure for how much longer.

"Theo, I got a new movie for us to watch!" She swiped the TV remote off the wooden coffee table in front of them. Theo nodded and sighed.

The movie blared but Theo payed no attention. He fixated his gaze on his feet. He suddenly felt something touch his thigh. He broke his gaze and saw Hollys hand resting on it. He brushed her hand off.

"Theo..." she muttered and put her hand back on his thigh. Theo once again, brushed it off without saying a word. "Theo!" She hissed, visibly annoyed.

"I don't want you to touch me right now." Theo finally had enough. Holly was clearly not amused by his reply. "Come on Theo Bear, you don't need to get angry." She touched the bottom of his shirt.

Theo gently brushed her hand off. "Please just watch the movie Holly." She scoffed at his remark. Then she pursed her lips and pouted. "Come on Baby. Just let me..." her voice trailed off as she started to lift Theo's shirt up. Theo quickly stood up, his shirt falling back down. Holly looked up at him.

"Don't make me tell Daddy you hit me again!" She screeched and got up to face Theo. "I don't give a shit! You do it every week!" He gritted his teeth so hard he could hear the grinding. "Don't take that tone with me!" She yelled. "Sit down!" She dug her nails into his arm and pulled him into the couch.

Theo hastily sighed and fell into the couch, his arm was sore and covered in scratch marks from her long fingernails. He scoffed and let his head sink into the couch.

"That's better hun." Holly rested her head on Theo and continued to watch the movie, like nothing just happened.
