Harry
It was only Tuesday.
I never hated my office more than what I did in this moment. Coming here after a memorable weekend was a low blow. The weekend was amazing. I'm snapped back into my world and it isn't one so great without Melanie. I sit down at my desk before Penelope, my assistant, rushes in.
"Make it quick" I snapped.
"I have a couple updates for you but those can wait, Elena Princeton is waiting outside. Do you want me to send her away? She seems up to something."
"No. You can send her in." She marches off. Her red hair bouncing off her shoulders. Elena walks in shortly after and closes the door behind her and then locks it. A smirk largely plastered on her face, her hands clinging to her over sized coat but then she unwraps it and drops it on the marbled floor.
She was completely naked.
A game she so often played when she didn't get what she wanted.
"Elena please. You need to leave." I insisted. I was looking into her eyes and nowhere else. That seemed to make her even more needy of my attention. She wasn't my healer anymore. She hasn't been for awhile. Things went wrong for us. Life happens, we move on the best we can but she seems to be living in the past.
I was the main character in her book when she was only just a chapter in mine.
"You know you miss me harry. You know you want my lips wrapped around your hard cock." I cringe at her words.
"We were hardly a thing Elena. Put your jacket on before security walks in and sees you naked." The tone in my voice was rattling. She picks up her jacket before putting it on and sitting down in front of me.
"Look at me, making a fool out of myself. I can never do anything right." She starts tearing up. A part of me hates seeing her cry. I held her years ago when her father would kick her out and we would sneak to the rooftop at Peter Plaza's. We would talk about the future as if we knew everything.
We were teenagers.
We thought we did.
We wanted to be normal teens with good parents but we didn't have that. We only had each other.
She was the only person that understood my situation growing up. Other women would have shown sympathy for me, but nobody knew the story behind my trauma, the abuse of my father nor would have they believed me.
He could've snapped his finger and it would've disappeared like that.
Never underestimate the power of money.
She didn't leave though, even with her own problems, she comforted me and supported me. I could never repay her for that.
My mother left me when I was 5 and it would've done Elena good if hers left in general.
My father was a manipulator, Abusive mentally and physically. I stood no chance against his character at a young age. He put on a good show. He was a lion in lambs clothing.
"You know I want the best for you Elena, as a friend only."
"You seem happier. What happened to you?" I raise a brow.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"I know you aren't going to settle down Harry, not any time soon. I'm just wondering what you're getting out of that little thing you have with her." She crosses her legs and continues with a list. I didn't bother to listen.
"I have no motivates and we are just friends"
"Don't lie to me Harry."
"There is no lies Elena. It doesn't matter what I do anymore. I'm allowed to do what I want and who I want." She was trying to convince me that her jealousy was for protection.. like she cared about my feelings.
Elena's dad lost all his money when she was younger.
I think she liked what mine brought her.
She liked the reputation.
She would've called it love but she could have simply opened her eyes more and see that it wasn't.
"I'm not worried. I know you'll drop her and come back to me or move on to another girl. You just wait Harry." She stands.
"Elena. I'm not playing games with you. I don't care where you show up or go. I respect you as a friend and I hope to get that back in return." Her face drew into a snarl.
"Have a good day Harry." She walks out and Penelope comes back in.
"If she ever comes again, call security immediately. I have no time to deal with that." She nods before handing me papers.
"The fish band wanted to discuss their contract with you. I made you a copy and I have an extra. They didn't seem very happy on the phone. They'll be here within an hour. Have a good rest of the night Harry." She nods before leaving.
I turn to look down at Elena talking to Keaton on the sidewalk.
What I feel with Melanie is much more than what I ever experienced with Elena.
The feeling is so overwhelming. I don't know if I'm breathing or drowning.
She was art and art wasn't always supposed to look good, it's supposed to make you feel something and trust me, Melanie makes me feel things twice. Once for never knowing the feeling, twice for wanting it more.
She was a dream. A bright star in the sky.
I'd walked through hell just to get a kiss from her.
By the time I focused back from my daze, Elena was gone. Relief comforts my body. I pick up my phone to call Melanie. She answers and like that, I was done thinking about my dreadful encounter with Elena.
"Melanie Storm speaking, head of star fashion." I smile to myself.
"And this is Harry styles, head of champions records." I stop Penelope with my hand. She got the message and backed out slowly, shutting my office door behind her.
"Sexy. Tell me more"
"Well he is thinking about an incredible woman and how he wants her soft legs around his waist while he thrusts into her, hard." I cross my legs.
"How to make that happen right now." Her voice was in desperation. I missed her just as much. An idea pops into my head and I was ready to act on it.
"I'll arrange something," I spoke fast.
"You seem like you have an idea u-"
"I've got some business to take care of, we'll chat soon!" I hang up before checking my watch. It was 8 pm. I walk out to Penelope who was behind her desk.
"Clear my schedule for the next 3 days and tell the Fish Band I apologize for my late cancellation. I'm flying out to New York tonight. You're in charge, if anything important comes up, call me immediately" I demanded before grabbing my jacket from the coat rack.
"Is everything okay Mr. Styles?" she stands with concern.
"It will be very soon." She sits back in her chair just as the elevator doors closes.
