Kang ji hoon's P.O.V

I entered the conference room to attend the executive directors' board meeting. I'm sure everyone's shocked with Tae Zing's sudden appearance including me. I'm quite surprised to meet her like this; also, the person I'm looking for a while turned out to be her. While sitting for the meeting I observed her properly. She indeed changed a lot. I almost didn't recognize her at first. She used to have long straight black here touching up to waist height and a cheerful innocent look. Now, her hair is shortened up to shoulder height, slightly wavy with Auburn highlights; but with arrogance look in her eyes.

"Ms. Susan, you came in right time. We have been looking for you for a long time. You really surprised us." said director Lee.

"Since you all were desperately looking for me, and this meeting seems quite interesting, so I thought to show up otherwise I don't like to waste my time in useless chattering." She smirked after giving a sassy reply. Director Lee got awkward for a moment but at instant he laughed foolishly saying, "you are really humorous!" she gave an evil smile, "what do you want?"

"Huh?"

"you said earlier that you were looking for me. I guess that's not for wanting to see my face or just to praise me, right?"

he laughed foolishly again, "you're smart also. Well, we indeed heard a lot about you from late chairman Kang Young Chul and CEO Wang Dae Hyun. You are hardworking, talented and handled a lot of projects in the U.S under them." He flattered her, "How about the projects in the U.S?"

"Well the projects are going great as always."

He hesitated for a bit. "Not that what I want to mean is, how about the other projects? do they have new ones or something.... I mean it is our overseas branch so we should know about it."

"as far as I remember the directors' board were not desperately curious in our overseas projects then, why all of a sudden?"

"ah... what I want to say---"

"you don't have to worry about that." She cut his words. "I told you, the projects are going well. It will finish smoothly on time; it will earn profits and you all will get the statistical report by the end of this month." He remained silent with the expression of a failure because I guess he intend to take advantages from the U.S projects like other executives.

"but I think at least I have the right to know about it." I said.

She raised one of her eyebrows and said, "CEO Kang, I'm not talking who has rights and who doesn't. What I am saying is, by judging the current internal crisis of M.K. group I don't think it has the luxury to bother about overseas projects. Besides, I can guarantee it will work out smoothly. And I am here because I want to take over 'Elegance' (cosmetic brand of M.K. group) "

There is a humming sound everywhere. The directors were surprised by her words.

"You can really make serious jokes, Ms. Susan" said director Moon. "Just because you handled few important projects, it doesn't mean you can take whatever you want. You're just an assistant director."

"Director." She slightly raised her tone.

''what?" director Moon got confused.

"I'm a director not an assistant director." she corrected him with sassy tone. "And I'm not just a mere director. I am also sister of deceased CEO Wang Dae Hyun which means....... I'm the heiress of Wang family."

Oh my God! She just dropped a bomb in the meeting.

"You mean Mr. Wang Beom Seok is your own father?" I asked with astonishment.

"Yes." She nodded.

"That's impossible!" opposed director Moon with anxiety evident in his face. Mr. Wang never had a daughter! He had two sons."

"who are you to decide if he has a daughter or not?" she said imprudently. "Lawyer Kim." she called his lawyer and asked him to hand out the documents

"Here the DNA report which states that I am the biological daughter of Wang Beom Seok. And in the other document it is clearly written that my brother transferred all his shares to me. So, combining the shares I had earlier and the transferred ones, I guess the percentage is more than enough to fulfill the criteria of becoming CEO. Isn't it?"

"But there is already another candidate." said director Moon. "Chairman Moon wanted to appoint her daughter to be the next CEO of 'Elegance'"

"Her daughter? Moon Yu Ri? I know that already. That's why I wondered why you were getting anxious earlier. Because of your niece? But this is business not place of nepotism and speaking of her, where is she? It been almost more than half an hour the meeting started but there's no sign of her."

He remained silent because he had nothing to say. I don't get why Yu Ri has to be too careless today. I still couldn't make her learn professionalism at work.

"Even if chairman Moon wishes, it still needs executives' approval." She continued. "even though these different brands are under M.K. foundation, it still has their independent rights. It doesn't work over only one's command. So, now May I ask the executives about their opinion regarding the position?"

There was humming sound again. The executives are discussing among themselves. Tae Zing totally indulge them in dilemma while she is still sitting straight confidently.

"how about I give a solution. Since the executive seems still confused, what about holding vote in next week? I guess that's enough time to decide whom you should elect as a CEO or not. And we will present the proposal plan for 'Elegance'. You can decide after that." Everyone nodded agreeing her opinion. "But if Moon Yu Ri fails to attend meeting again, I hope the board won't let it slide."
