Chapter 28 Becoming a Pack?

"Jesse, you won't get away with this!" I shouted as I struggled to free from his grip. He through towards the ground and locked a chain around my ankle.
"Oh, I already have. Those friends of yours aren't coming for you. Neither is you true love! True love doesn't exist!" He stated as he stood up.
"They're coming! I know they are!" I screamed back as I tried to burn the lock.
"It's magic proof idiot! You'll never be able to free from it! I am the one who bestows the key and no one else will be able to take it. Unless you agree to marry me and rule the underworld." He said as he folded his arms.
"Never! You, You creep!" I shouted as I tried to punch him in the gut.
"Ha! Good Luck!" He states as he vanished. I tried to free from the lock when I heard screams from afar.
"Help me! Someone!" A voice cried for help. Suddenly Jesse's voice echoes back.
"You fool! You think you could protect that idiot?" He shouted.
"Don't hurt her! Don't you dare touch her!" It was Haley's voice shouting back.
"You can't do anything to stop me!" He shouted. I filled with rage and I tried to teleport but the lock held me back and burnt my ankle.
"Ahh!" I screamed in pain.
"Kayla! What did you do to her?!" Haley screamed. Suddenly everything got quiet. There was nothing but an eerie science. Just then, I felt a breath on my neck.
"Come with me!" The voice demanded. Whoever it was, grabbed my hand and we vanished.
The light blinded my eyes, and I was thrown to the ground.
"I saved you, aren't you going to thank me?" Asked a man who stood tall above me.
"Who are you?" I asked quietly.
"My name is Trent, now I just saved your life, and you aren't going to thank me?" He stated while crossing his arms.
"Thank you, Trent." I replied with a faint smile.
"Well, I couldn't just a leave a beautiful young girl in a dungeon to die now could I?" He said with a laugh.
"How did you know I was there?" I asked curiously.
"I could sense it. I'm a werewolf y'know, we can sense danger. The was another girl there to, my brother rescued her." He exclaimed.
"What? I thought werewolves were the worst enemies of vampires." I mumbled.
"You're a vampire? Couldn't tell, but no we aren't enemies. We want peace but vampires never agree. Say, you're that girl from awhile back ain't ya?" He asked with a slang.
"I've encountered werewolves before, never face to face like this though." I sighed.
"Hmm, well welcome to the pack! Miss, what is your name?" He asked with a smile.
"Kayla, and pack? What?" I asked as I stood up. Just as I finished speaking, 4 more men walked out from behind us.
"This pack!" Trent shouted with a smile.
"Who's she?" One of the men asked.
"This is Kayla! Saved her from a dungeon!" Trent smirked cheerfully.
"Vampire, eh?" Another man asked as he sniffed the air around me.
"Yes." Trent stated.
"Kill her!" A buff man said from behind me.
"No! She is our hope of peace between us rivals." Trent yelled back.
"I'm the alpha! I decide!" The buff man snarled back.
"Not this time Ryan!" Trent shouted back.
"What did you just say?" The buff man , Ryan, growled.
"You heard me, I'm not going to let you kill her! She's valuable!" Trent snarled back.
"Besides Alpha, she is with child." A girls voice came from behind me.
"Hi, I'm Luna, its pleasure to meet you dear." She said with a soothing voice.
"What?!" Trent shouted surprised.
"Then we really can't kill her!" He finished.
Luna walked up to Ryan and hugged up against him.
"He's right, she is valuable. We could use her." She spoke.
"Wait I'm mar-" I began to spoke as I noticed my wedding ring was missing.
"No! My ring!" I screamed.
"What ring?" Trent asked.
"MY WEDDING RING!" I shouted back as I scanned the ground around me.
"What? You're married? To whom?" He asked curiously.
"Now really isn't the time, Kayla either join the pack, or don't. The choice is yours." Luna exclaimed.
"I'll join the pack, if you guys can help me find my wedding ring." I bargained.
"Fine!" Ryan stated.
"Thank you!" I said with a slight smile.
"Alright, Trent and David you will be the protectors of her. Don't let her out of your sight! If something happens to her, you two will be punished! Now go!" Ryan exclaimed.
"Yes Alpha!" Both Trent and a tall young man said at the same time.
"Wait? I have to be with them 24/7?" I asked curiously.
"Yes!" Ryan shouted at me.
"No need to yell Ryan. You three better get going." Luna said as she scooted us off. The three of us slowly walked away from the rest of the pack.
