It didn't take long for them to arrive at Suna's doorstep. Suna was already outside and prepared to leave. Though there was an unusual bounce in his step, Sakusa noticed.

Mindless chatter was exchanged between Suna and Komori as they walked toward the direction of Komori's house. Almost like they hadn't dated in the past and was just friends up until now.

Sakusa enjoyed that no tension was ever held between them; knowing himself, he probably wouldn't be able to break any awkwardness if there was. He walked just a few feet behind them, sometimes piping a remark or two to contribute to the light-hearted conversation.

If he remembers correctly, the meet-up consists of Akaashi, Bokuto, the Miya twins, and the two males in front of him... that would be six people in one room.

It's not that he had social anxiety or anything; physical contact and bacteria were just a big no-no to him. It kinda made him nervous though, what if he says something wrong?

Jeez, what if they actually hate his (not that he would loudly admit it) rude personality and the whole ordeal would be awkward?

He bit the inside of his cheek as he shook off his thoughts, they would... probably just discourage me even more. He sighed through his mask then adjusted the straps of his bag, he needed a distraction from his mind.

"Kori?" Sakusa said when he realised Suna and Komori had fallen silent, mainly because Suna had pulled out his cellphone and was texting someone.

"Hm?" Komori looked over his shoulder. "Yeah? Oh, Suna and I were debating about something and you're the tie-breaker."

Komori's eyes crinkled, like he was smiling under his facemask. "Okay, so technically, eating a cake without slicing it is still one piece of cake, right?"

"Your answer determines if you're a fatass," Suna looked up from his phone.

"What even gave you that idea?" Sakusa's question was directed at Komori.

"Because a whole cake is just one big piece of cake! Therefore, it's just one piece and eating it whole would mean you just ate one piece!" Komori said a bit too loudly. People looked over their way with judging eyes, as if they understand anything.

"If I agree with your ideology, that would make me a fatass."

"Mori-kun is, by the way."

"Rude!"

"He has a point," Sakusa commented while shrugging. "I think you still have to say you ate one whole cake then."

"But it's still one piece, right?"

"Well... yes?" Sakusa hoped he didn't give Komori the idea to eat a whole cake alone. His answer seemed to satisfy his cousin and, with a shit-eating grin, Komori turned to Suna.

"That's one loophole for me!" He cheered before lightly punching Suna's arm. Komori continued to think aloud until they reached his place, providing enough white noise for Sakusa to not get lost on his own thoughts.

"I'm gonna go upstairs, you guys can eat anything in the kitchen or whatever," was all that Komori said before he left the two alone, his feet loudly thumping against the hardwood floor.
