As the morning continued, Tommy and Tubbo continued walking in their designated direction.

They decided to work on their food dilema later on, when their hunger bars were decidedly low, and they continued to try and search for EarthTown along the bright, wide horizon.

A couple of hours passed during their trek, and the boys' hunger bars slightly dropped down one by one, up until half-length. Their bellies were aching with hunger since they hadn't had their breakfast today, and they had to frequently pause for breaks to make sure their hunger bar didn't drop down too fast. Drinking water wasn't a good idea, because their food bar wouldn't even go up, and then their precious water supply would be wasted.

Over time, however, they were both slightly used to it, and so their hunger pangs slightly died down. It was evening; around six or maybe seven o'clock. They were sitting down and resting when all of a sudden Tubbo spotted something from far away.

"Is-Is that water?" Tubbo stood up to get a closer look. "I think we're by the coastline!"

Tommy turned around and got to his feet to see what in the world Tubbo was talking about. He put his hand over his eyes, hoping the shade would help him see further.

Tubbo was right; there was strong blue against the wall of sand. And there was a lot of it. Tommy wasn't surprised that they missed it, since they were both begrudgingly looking at the ground the whole time.

The coast was quite close, and Tubbo scrambled through his inventory for the map, which had been put away for the break. He analyzed its contents, looking around the world for familiar landmarks he could also spot on the map.

"Wow, no, we're WAY off..." Tubbo scrunched his face in concern as he looked at the map. Tommy came up to Tubbo's map and looked at it as well, although not particularly trying to understand.

"EarthTown is in this direction..." Tubbo continued, thinking. "If we start going that way, that'll take ANOTHER few weeks of walking to get there..."

Tommy hung his head down in weakness and disappointment. They had come so far just to be in the wrong. Nothing was going in their favor.

He looked off toward the massive ocean, it's salty scent being brought by the wind. Tommy could see a couple of blobs across the ocean, meaning they could be islands. However, they probably weren't useful to their journey, especially since they were quite far away, and not in the boys' path.

Tubbo looked at where Tommy was staring, and assessed the brown blobs on the map.

"Hey, hold on. I think I know where we are!" Tubbo's eyes widened in excitement. He looked at the desert from the direction they had come from, and took another glance at the islands.

"Follow me!" He addressed Tommy.

To Tommy's surprise, Tubbo headed toward the ocean. Tommy followed after him, confused by his antics. Where was he going and why?

After they went halfway down towards the coast, Tommy slowed down, Tubbo continuing to lead the way.

"Ok, can you- can you tell me where we're going?"

Tubbo stopped and turned toward Tommy. "Just trust me, okay?"

"Okay...," Tommy replied, unsure, but Tubbo knew a bit more things than him, which was something Tommy would never admit out loud.

They trekked down the slope, getting nearer and nearer to the water. Tubbo reached the shore first, and took out a crafting table from his inventory bag. He placed it down, and started to work on something.
