Bad Day (Blurb)

A/N: Yeah its short. I'm writing this as 1 in the morning and I need a hug. Angst warning. (Oh, and happy Lughnasadh for my fellow witches!)

You laid on the bed staring up at the ceiling of your apartment, attempting to turn your brain off for a little bit by finding nonexistent patterns in the walls. it was all you could do to lay there and let your numbness overtake you. at the sound of the door and heavy foot steps walking into the room you sat up. you could feel a slight light turn on inside you when you saw Obi Wan.

He leaned against the doorway and stared at you quizzically.

"Whats the matter?" He could always tell when something was wrong.

For some reason, his concerned words set off a flood of emotion that had just been waiting to break free. You could feel tears begin to pickle up in the corners of your eyes.

"Bad day." You answered blatantly. You struggled to keep the pain out of your voice. looking back over at Obi Wan, you could see a caring softness in his expression.

"What do you need darling?" You thought over his question for a moment before standing up and holding out your tired arms for him in utter defeat.

"Hug?" He gave you a sweet smile before walking towards you and embracing you in his warm arms. Feeling his arms around you gave you a sense of comfort and safety, It felt like a place where you could just let go for a moment, so you did. You let all of your pent up emotions out in a wave of tears. you wrapped yourself in his arms tighter, laying your face on Obi Wan's shoulder, soaking his robes with your tears. You held onto him like your life depended on it.

"It's alright darling, I'm here for you." he said as he brought up a hand to stroke your hair. "We have days where things don't go quite right, and thats ok. I know you feel down at the moment and that is valid, but I also know how strong and amazing you are Y/N. I know that you will be able to get up and seize tomorrow.

You nodded frantically at his words, his soothing voice doing wonders on your nerves.

"I love you Obi Wan." You murmured into him.

He placed a sweet kiss on the top of your head. "I love you too Darling."
