Tilting my head up, I felt a flash of pure power course through my veins. Unlike anything else I had seen before, my life flashed before my eyes. All my best memories glowed with happiness. The sad ones didn't seem as bad as they were when it happened, either. Everything was peaceful, and I could be at peace.
All of that happiness shifted once Daddy held my hand in the air and cheered, "A new goddess is among us! To Callidora!"
"To Callidora!" Many of the gods and goddesses in the background cheered for me. I giggled before making my way over to Marcus, who planted a quick kiss on my head.
