Olive sat down beside Jason and stared at him.
"Would you quit it?" Jason growled.
His voice was handsome and strong.
"Sorry Baby! Your just so.. Handsome" she smirked and looked over her shoulder at me.
That sniveling vial fox! She's just playing with me to make me jealous.
"Whatever." Jason sighed
Olive rolled her eyes.
After homeroom I rushed to second period with Opal on my behind.
"Why.. Are.. We.. Running?" She said breathing heavily.
"Jason is not going to sit by me.. Nor Olive. She's such a fox!" I said growling.
"Calm... Down.. How are you.. Not.. Tired?" Olive said wiping her forehead.
"No! She's just using him. I know it." I grumbled sitting down.
Opal sighed and sat down next to me, writing the notes on the board.
Jason and Olive sat on the table far away from us.
"Don't want lil' Ms. Alexi trying to harass you!" Olive smirked
Jason gave her a "shut-up-and-leave-me-alone look."
I watched the clock as the lunch bell rang.
"Finally!" I said.
We walked downstairs and took our places at our usual table.
"I'm going to go get some water and napkins." Opal said skipping off.
I sighed and took out my vegan sushi.
I poked it with my finger and looked around for Jason.
He said down on the far end of our table. I felt my face getting hot and red.
Olive immediately sat beside him and giggled.
"Hi babe! Whatcha eating?" Olive said all girly.
"Hamburger." He said.
"Oh my gosh! Your going to be unhealthy if you eat that! Why not a salad?" Olive offered.
"No. You don't control my lunch." Jason is the second one to put down Olive, aside from me.
"Fine.. Whatever." Olive said.
Classes went on and then the final bell rang. Everyone was piling out and getting on the bus. I walked home with Opal.
"How was the first day back?" Opal said.
"Don't be dumb. You were with me the whole time." I grumbled.
"Alexi, don't be a sour puss. He's just a guy." Opal said
"A handsome guy with my mortal enemy as a girlfriend!" I corrected her.
Opal shrugged and skipped into her house.
"See yah!" Opal called as she waved.
I waved back and headed for my house
Today was an unforgettable one.
And I figured out that things will not be the same again.
